I added that fun fact because it is a little odd that Blue Laser would tell his minion to add something that has already been added, especially since Blue Laser appears to be staring at the list as he says it.  I would think this merits some fun fact-ness.  {{User:GuardDuck/sig}} 22:23, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

:It's been added and removed a couple of times, and is on the [[Talk:The Next Epi-Snowed#Cold cuts easter egg|talk page]] without much response. I personally think that something that obvious isn't notable, that's all. You are right, i should have been a bit descriptive in my summary. (Also thank you, my talk page is no longer lonely.) {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 22:31, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

At least one member of TBC ''did'' cover Daniel Johnston's song "Some Things Last a Long Time" under the name Mark Margarine (see http://www.thoraxcorp.com/mp3s/Mark%20Margarine/Covers%20Annex/, though they attribute it to Built to Spill instead), but you're probably right that it's too much of a stretch. --[[User:JohnnyLurg|JohnnyLurg]] 21:03, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

:I searched the wiki for other references before reverting. It still seems too much of a stretch, unless they say so in a commentary or something. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 21:10, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

:This is not the place for this discussion. They are not on there because they are not strong bad's nor has he ever used them to check an email of his... actually, on second thought, he DID use TG once... so perhaps that one should be... i don't know, why not start a thread on the talk page for that template, as in, not here. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 17:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

== Good user ==
+
I'm gonna throw an idea out here.
-
Would I be qualified as a good user? I know I don't do much, but I try to make articles and Images better...
+
*I think I've mentioned it before but HR says a lot of unusual similes. Like "Fresh as a bagel", "Pure as a mountain goat" and "like falling of a web van". I'll try to think of more, but it seems to be a unique part of his vernacular style.

You'd probably remember examples I forgot. I was wondering if you thought this was notable and/or pageworthy. {{User:Broncotroll/sig}} 06:05, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

:Everybody is a good user! We all do something to help the wiki as long as you're editing, I like to think. {{User:Acam30/sig}} 12:30, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
+
:Interesting idea. I'll try to come up with some more. "two breads in a biscuit" is a good one. And "smack it like a newborn's biscuit". There's probably more. I'm surprised we don't have a page on it, it's a pretty clear running joke. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 06:11, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
-

:: Awesome. I'll go do some "research". I love how we can call watching cartoons "research". {{User:Broncotroll/sig}} 06:13, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
-
:::Of course! :] {{User:MichaelXX2/sig}}
+
::: Heh. Research. I often wonder why I bother. Then I remember how much fun it is. Anyway, it's much easier to create a page for something like [[Confetti]] or [[Grapes]], because you can just search the wiki for all occurrences of the term. These jokes which follow a similar pattern are much harder to find and much harder to ensure completeness for, and require, as you say, research. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 06:16, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

:::::Oh, the point wasn't "do confetti, don't bother with the hard ones", it was just an observation about different kinds of pages. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 06:20, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

:I can try, but my sig is very simple, just a gradient. All i did was change the colors of it. In truth, i'm pretty bad at sig-making. Why did you undo my edit? I watch Homestar cartoons without sound all the time, and there are instances where the "hide text and then display text for some reason" effect actually causes me to miss a word or phrase. In almost all cases, it's completely unnecessary and just looks tacky. {{User:MichaelXX2/sig}} 20:34, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

:Those are there for a reason, namely to simultaneously not spoil the joke until the point where the punchline is said, and also show the punchline on the screen in the context of the full sentence. I see no reason to remove them, and it was not appropriate for you to unilaterally decide to do so without discussing it first. I'm also unsure why this conversation is going on on my talk page rather than somewhere more relevant (like on the subtitles page for that toon, or on the project page for subtitles as a whole). {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 21:01, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

:Some of the descriptions were fine, but most were poorly worded, excessive, or over the top. Also the links to the images were unnecessary, which is the main thing I was referring to by "we don't do that". {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 17:25, 6 March 2016 (UTC)

:Re: losing the video: It's possible there's someone that saves all the swfs. The kitkorp mirror saved swfs up to a certain point and the Internet Archive Wayback Machine probably has most of them saved too. Not fully sure how [[A Jumping Jack Contest]], [[Marshmallow's Last Stand]] and other removed sections of the site got mirrored but it could likely have been from one of those. {{User:Mee/sig}} 21:14, 6 March 2016 (UTC)

You sig looks pretty cool and colorful. How did you do it (make it shady, I don't mean Bubs' shadiness), may I ask?
 +
:Thanks. I wrote a script a long time ago that generates the html necessary to display a gradient (that's the technical term for what you call "shady"). Basically, it's just each letter being a slighty different color than the previous one and shifting gradually (get it? GRADual, GRADient?) from one color to another. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 22:23, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello Defender1031, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep [[Special:Recentchanges|recent changes]] and page histories from being flooded. Hey, I've created a new template at [[Template:Talkheader]].  I was wondering if you were any good at Wiki code, because I'm having three issues with it.  Once the box is finished, I'd like to customize it to the Homestar Runner Wiki. Also, if this is redundant, let me know.  [[User:Son|Son]] 16:35, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
+
-
:Hey there, i'm actually curious what all these templates you're creating are for. We tend not to create templates without extensive discussion. I get the talkheader one, but not the others. (Also, there's better ways to put headers on all pages of a namespace than templates, and such a thing is best left up to the site developers.) {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 16:36, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
+
-
::Thanks for tagging those.  I wholesale copied the Talkheader template from Wikipedia.  In the process, it had these other templates layered in it.  In my tired idiocracy, I tried to build those as well.  It was becoming hopelessly complicated. At that point, I at least moved them into my userspace, though it's probably a lot simpler to just delete those in the first place.  I thought that perhaps a talkheader would be a nice improvement to the site.  I probably should have put in a request some where.  If that's the case, I'll keep that in mind for the future.  [[User:Son|Son]] 16:47, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
+
-
:::Well, i can tag the remaining ones in your user space for deletion if you want. As for the talk page header, we already have something sort of like it, {{tl|talk}}. It might be worth expanding and seeing if the devs want to have mediawiki automatically add it to the top of every talk page. I certainly would support the idea, your template makes it very clear what talk pages are for, and it might be good to have a short list of talk page rules there. I think i'll bring it up with the devs and get back to you on it. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 16:52, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

:Sure. when putting "subst:" before a template, it will replace, or SUBSTitute, the template call for the actual code contained therein. For example, if i have a template named "example" that contains "This is a sample template", if i were to write "<nowiki>{{example}}</nowiki>" somewhere, then when i go to edit the page, it'll still say "<nowiki>{{example}}</nowiki>" in that spot on the edit page. If i wrote "<nowiki>{{subst:example}}</nowiki>" instead, it would instead have "This is a sample template" written. Outwardly, the pages would look identical, only in the code does it matter. I hope that answers your question, cause i don't know how to make it any clearer. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 23:51, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, so I thought I made a valuable contribution to the Homestar email toon article, I even went through the legwork of doing the necessary research to make everything authentic. Boy was I cheesed off to see it deleted within seconds! It took me a few days to do the trackdown, and it pointed to you. I was REALLY cheesed off until I went to your home page, and then I saw why you deleted said additions. I thought my contributions were significant. Heck, I never write ANYTHING online without first considering if it will be worthwhile or just internet poop, whether this note be a Facebook note or a blog. But after reading your page on what you think good content is, especially regarding pop culture references, I understood why you removed them. Yes, I will stand by my post. I still think it was important information. But I've had limited exposure to pop culture as a whole, so it's likely that the information I supplied could be found in a hundred places. And you feel that a reference to a concept (a reference that can come from a dozen sources) is unnecessary to mention. I agree. It just hurt to see my first post wiped out in seconds. --[[User:Bauerman24|Bauerman24]] 04:18, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

:I'm not entirely sure what edit you're referring to, as you seem to have not made any edits with your account before this one, but i assure you that i meant no offense by reverting. For a long time I've said that we need a mechanism to revert edits while still letting people know that their contributions are welcome, but unfortunately such a thing would be tedious and annoying to do, as we often get anonymous users who make one-time edits that aren't worth keeping. But anyway, would you mind clarifying to which edit you are referring? Whatever it is, i'd be glad to discuss it. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 04:39, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

I did the edit before I had a real account, so I just showed up as an IP [I KNEW you were going to look! haha]. The address WAS [[97.89.178.220]]. Probably the last one, but I don't know how to link to the history page or anything. I'm still new to this whole "edit-a-wiki" thing.

Like I said, I read why you remove posts like mine [even though I didn't know I was referring to common phenomena at the time]. I can't stand wasteful or poorly-written posts. I've edited a fair share of run-on sentence posts. So, thank you for keeping your wiki cleaned up and informative. These things can get bloated with junk fast.

Thanks for being understanding about it. I don't expect to see my work back up. In fact, I'd prefer it stay down, in the interest of an accurate, more concise wiki. You say what happens behind the black stays behind the black. In Flash file world, which is where the toons really are, what happens "behind the black" that you see in the Flash file but not on the HTML page is really in the beautiful field of white. --{{User:Fangoriously/SIGGY HERE!}} 00:09, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

:::Cute, but homestar says differently in [[flashback]]. But whatever you want to call it, the rule on the wiki is that we don't note "goofs" that are outside the frame and therefore don't appear in the html file, whatever you want to call it. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 14:57, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

::::Think of this another way. All the articles are written from the perspective of the html file, not the flash file. If something odd occurs "behind the black", it will not be visible when the html file is viewed and is therefore not a goof. Simply put, there's no reason whatsoever for the TBC to animate things that won't be seen in the html file anyway. So to avoid creating extra pointless work for themselves, they take shortcuts, like not bothering to put Strong Mad's mouth or Strong Bad's legs in. They are deliberate ommisions, not goofs, which is why we don't mention them unless they are ''very'' unusual. Also, you're not supposed to be watching the flash file anyway. {{User:The Chort/sig}} 18:44, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Although [[User talk:The Chort/Archive#Abandoning other users.27 images|I was once told]] by It's Dot Com that "we don't delete images simply because they're not being used", but this just seems like being lazy to me. :Well, that's exactly the point of that page... i was gonna wait till it was fuller before calling too much attention to it. :That talk page is a special case. Its purpose is not for the discussion of the corresponding project page or of any article, but is a help desk. Anyone replying to a question on that page is in a sense taking it upon themselves to speak for the wiki, and there are ways to do that and ways not to. In the case you cite, the reply was not only patently false but rude to boot. Rather than strike out or simply contradict the incorrect response, it was better just to remove it. &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 22:50, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

:::Speaking to {{p|l=http://hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Talk:Where_U_Goin%27_2%3F&diff=prev&oldid=645429 the issue we're actually talking about}}, our guidelines state that one should "not remove posts from a talk page unless ... there is a clear, compelling reason the post must be removed." Trying to avoid confusion by removing something you yourself said in error is probably okay, if it's caught fast enough (and I think eight minutes is fast enough). On the other hand, the comments are benign enough that it's also probably okay for your comment and DeFender's reply to stand as they are (with nothing being struck out). I think it was unnecessary for him to revert you once you had removed it, but now that it's back it doesn't need to be removed a second time. &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 23:14, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

In your edit summary, you said, "yeah, we tend to specifically NOT bypass redirects with pipes for several reasons." What does this mean? like, what is a pipe? {{User:The Knights Who Say Ni/sig}} 00:16, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
+
-
:"|" is a pipe. in wiki terms "pipe" is short for "piped link". a piped link is a link in the form "<nowiki>[[link|link text]]</nowiki>". We generally prefer linking to redirects where they exist over piping to avoid them for a variety of reasons. Hope that helps. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 00:25, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

::that makes sense, but i still don't know any of the reasons haha. i mean, i can think of one: in case a page is fairly long, doing that would help somewhat with the byte count, but that's the only thing i can think of. i hate to make you try to tell me a long list, but maybe a few others? {{User:The Knights Who Say Ni/sig}} 00:31, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
+

:::Byte count shmyte count... roughly 50,000+12=roughly 50,000. That's not the issue. There was a [[HRWiki talk:Standards#(Don't Fear) The Redirect|discussion]] on it some time back. The biggest reason is if there's a link to something that redirects to a section on a larger page, but could be made its own page eventually, the link wouldn't need to be changed, the redirect would just be made into a full page and viola, now your page links where it's supposed to. (That doesn't really apply to "X" vs. "The X" but meh.) Other reasons include that it looks better in the page source without the pipe, and that if people click on a link to one thing, it makes sense to have a little notice at the top saying why they got another. (Also doesn't REALLY apply in the case of "X" vs. "The X", but i'm a stickler for consistency.) That said, it probably doesn't matter SO much in this case, and wasn't really worth the extra couple of edits either way, but like i said, i like consistency. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 00:58, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Did you see my edit summary? i was running out of room, so [[other days|i had to abbreve everything]]. it should have said: <i>"yes i saw that afterwards and decided not to revert myself b/c the remark seems to suggest otherwise as it is. the explanation is thorough, but since there's only one shirt subject tbc didn't invent, and because the remark suggests the shirts would be clear, i think it should be in both places."</i> i know we typically don't put information in two different places on the same page, and i could understand if there was just the one asterisk instead of two, but as it stands, the remark suggests that everything is unblurred when that is just not the case. {{User:The Knights Who Say Ni/sig}} 21:21, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

:From the "Button Effects" section:
+

:*'''[[Store]]''' — Glasses are placed on the viewer, allowing for better vision. Homestar's shirts are still blurred.

:Hence, there is no reason to add it to the remark. Further, the remark says you can watch the OTHER animations unblurred. I decided, since I'm in a little bit of a template issue, that I may as well take you up on your offer. After all, you've [[User:DeFender1031/sig|obviously]] shown us that you are an expert with MediaWiki markup and especially ParserFunctions. I'm trying to import a [[Wikipedia:Template:User wiki lang-2| MediaWiki language userbox]] (how ironic), and I'm trying to make the font size the same (11pt). However, using a <code><nowiki><span></nowiki></code> element in the <code>code</code> parameter to down the font size didn't work. There is no pipe in the parameter, and I even entity'd the curly brackets (the user box code is "<nowiki>{{Wiki}}</nowiki>"). Is it the equals sign for the style attribute? Will I need to work out some ParserFunctions in the [[Template:userbox|userbox]] template as to fix the problem and specify a font size? Or am I just missing/forgetting something?

:::::Yeah. I think I'll just leave it alone for now and go with what I have (though you can barely read it, since I wanted it to fit in 45 pixels!). I have another question. I would like to put a ParserFunction into my signature that'll get rid of the link to my talk page if someone's on my talk pages (well, what will become pages in 2010). Similar to your signature and how "Talk" is replaced by "Me". This is the code I'm trying:

Why is it policy to make the sic's inviso?  Isn't it useful for the reader to be able to see 'em?  (Not disputing it, just asking in general) -[[Special:Contributions/132.183.151.122|132.183.151.122]] 19:13, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

::Not meaning to come down one way or the other on this matter myself, but I do want to note there was a fairly lengthy debate on this very matter a few years ago in the [[HRWiki talk:Manual of Style#Sic|talk page to the Manual of Style]].  While it doesn't seem clear that any consensus was really arrived at, the wording in the [[HRWiki:Manual of Style#Spelling|Manual of Style]], as it currently stands, seems to suggest visibility (at least, it does recommend adding the "[''sic'']", and doesn't say anything about making it invisible).  Maybe this is a matter that ought to be reopened?  (Or not...) &mdash;[[User:Alun Clewe|Alun Clewe]] 19:41, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

::::Sorry.  Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what do you suggest I should have done?  I'm not the one who started the discussion, but I thought it was worth pursuing... but I see your point that this wasn't the place for it.  Would it have been better had I brought the discussion to the [[Talk:dictionary|dictionary Talk page]], since that's presumably the article the original poster was referring to?  Or should I have just stayed out of it entirely?  Again, sorry if this is a stupid question--I'm not trying to be ironic or intentionally obtuse; I really don't have that much wiki editing experience, and I'm honestly wondering what the more appropriate course of action would have been here.&mdash;[[User:Alun Clewe|Alun Clewe]] 20:25, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

:::::Ah, i see you misunderstood. Asking me about the edit here on my talk page was fine. Continuing the discussion and bringing the extra background information and topic history is also fine. Suggesting that this discussion be revitalized is fine too. In fact, there was nothing that was not fine. All i meant was that if we do reopen the matter, this isn't the place for it. It should be done on a more public talk page, like standards or manual of style, either of which would be fine. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 20:30, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

:Probably the super-awesome ascii art. That's a lot of information in a very small visual area... I know any time i scroll by it, it slows down for me as well. It's possible that your browser renders the entire page at once rather than just the section you're viewing, in which case, you probably have the whole page loaded, but it hasn't become visible yet, as the ascii-art takes a while to process given its complexity. Unless it's affecting other programs, don't worry too much about it. If it IS affecting other programs, please let me know, so i can remove it. That's actually a [[Wiktionary:the|real rule]] - "thee" before vowel and "thuh" before consonant - but it's an extremely loose rule and I don't even think most people recognize it as a rule; they just say it (usually) out of habit. [edit] Nebulon

At least one member of TBC did cover Daniel Johnston's song "Some Things Last a Long Time" under the name Mark Margarine (see http://www.thoraxcorp.com/mp3s/Mark%20Margarine/Covers%20Annex/, though they attribute it to Built to Spill instead), but you're probably right that it's too much of a stretch. --JohnnyLurg 21:03, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

I searched the wiki for other references before reverting. It still seems too much of a stretch, unless they say so in a commentary or something. — Defender1031*Talk 21:10, 2 December 2014 (UTC)

[edit] Ideas

I'm gonna throw an idea out here.

  • I think I've mentioned it before but HR says a lot of unusual similes.

--Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 06:05, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Interesting idea. I'll try to come up with some more. "two breads in a biscuit" is a good one. And "smack it like a newborn's biscuit". There's probably more. I'm surprised we don't have a page on it, it's a pretty clear running joke. — Defender1031*Talk 06:11, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Awesome. I'll go do some "research". I love how we can call watching cartoons "research". --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 06:13, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Heh. Research. I often wonder why I bother. Then I remember how much fun it is. Anyway, it's much easier to create a page for something like Confetti or Grapes, because you can just search the wiki for all occurrences of the term. These jokes which follow a similar pattern are much harder to find and much harder to ensure completeness for, and require, as you say, research. — Defender1031*Talk 06:16, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
I'll do confetti. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 06:19, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Oh, the point wasn't "do confetti, don't bother with the hard ones", it was just an observation about different kinds of pages. — Defender1031*Talk 06:20, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
I mean I'll do confetti right now, since it will be quicker. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 06:30, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Clean Ups

Sorry you and CatJaz have to clean up my TBD summer cleaning. I felt like the list needed to be trimmed but I guess I neglected some templates. Hopefully my "executive judgement" for merge/deletion consensus was mostly accurate. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 04:43, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Also, you should really archive your talk page. It's kind of annoying to scroll all the way down. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 04:50, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

I watch Homestar cartoons without sound all the time, and there are instances where the "hide text and then display text for some reason" effect actually causes me to miss a word or phrase. In almost all cases, it's completely unnecessary and just looks tacky. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 20:34, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Those are there for a reason, namely to simultaneously not spoil the joke until the point where the punchline is said, and also show the punchline on the screen in the context of the full sentence. I see no reason to remove them, and it was not appropriate for you to unilaterally decide to do so without discussing it first. I'm also unsure why this conversation is going on on my talk page rather than somewhere more relevant (like on the subtitles page for that toon, or on the project page for subtitles as a whole). — Defender1031*Talk 21:01, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Thank You

Thank you so much for helping me get an account. Sorry for being such a pest earlier and thanks again XXEmoElephantXx 04:51, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

No problem. Glad it worked out. — Defender1031*Talk 05:38, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

The exact same way. - Catjaz63 21:07, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Hello!

Hi defender! Sorry I'm a bit out of practice here as you can see. I sort of drifted into the big pedia. I hope you are staying safe and happy! --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 18:32, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. I'm good. Weclome back! — Defender1031*Talk 06:45, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
Ah, that magnificent spelling. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 23:08, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Why DON'T we do that?

Are you saying that my transcript edits are too much? How can they? I'm just adding things that weren't described before.
If we all of a sudden lose this video from the website or the Internet, who else will people rely on?
There are still a lot of things to edit on this website, and I don't see how they will be edited if we don't talk this out. Eh?
- XY

Some of the descriptions were fine, but most were poorly worded, excessive, or over the top. Also the links to the images were unnecessary, which is the main thing I was referring to by "we don't do that". — Defender1031*Talk 17:25, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
Re: losing the video: It's possible there's someone that saves all the swfs. The kitkorp mirror saved swfs up to a certain point and the Internet Archive Wayback Machine probably has most of them saved too. Not fully sure how A Jumping Jack Contest, Marshmallow's Last Stand and other removed sections of the site got mirrored but it could likely have been from one of those. It might be the time we change how we edit articles as a whole. This change may not seem comfortable,
but it is for the better. I'll see how it goes and we'll debate about it then. I'll try editing
Some Kinda Robot and see how that goes. I may not do it today, since March 7th, after all, it is my birthday.

Here we go!

Or, you could try, you know, being a team player and learning how this community functions rather than going against the grain and trying to change how we do things in a way which "may not seem comfortable". — Defender1031*Talk 23:50, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit] Nice sig

You sig looks pretty cool and colorful. How did you do it (make it shady, I don't mean Bubs' shadiness), may I ask?

Thanks. I wrote a script a long time ago that generates the html necessary to display a gradient (that's the technical term for what you call "shady"). Basically, it's just each letter being a slighty different color than the previous one and shifting gradually (get it? GRADual, GRADient?) from one color to another. — Defender1031*Talk 22:23, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit] Using Show Preview

Hello Defender1031, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Defender1031*Talk 15:35, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
