According to Strong Bad's "unphotographic memory", Don Knotts lived in Roman times with the Old-Timey characters, and was "always showing up".

The real Don Knotts was a well-known American actor, best known for playing Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show. He also guest-starred twice in The New Scooby-Doo Movies cartoons and frequently on Matlock (also starring Andy Griffith). He passed away less than two months after the email highschool was made.
