The Ghost menaces The Homestar Runner's town in the Old-Timey toon That A Ghost. The Homestar Runner and Old-Timey Strong Bad both try to capture it for a 27-cent reward. It appears in the Cholera Acres Cemetary, and ends up scaring everyone so greatly that they literally jump out of their skin. He bears a likeness to many cultures' Grim Reaper or Death.
