Hey there, Ten2. It's great that you tried a German translation of [[Subtitles:seasonalsweaters/de]]. Since you said that your German is "highly marginal", I think I should mention that the [[HRWiki:Subtitles#Translating_Subtitles|translation guidelines]] say that you should "only translate subtitles if you are skilled in both English and the desired language." And to help you improve your German, [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Subtitles%3Aseasonalsweaters%2Fde&diff=411180&oldid=411173 here] is how a native speaker would translate it ;-) Keep on trangling!{{User:Loafing/sig}} 00:17, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

:I worded that in a not-so-right way. It's not so much that my GERMAN is marginal, it's that my german VOCABULARY is marginal, so I was uncertain if the words for seasonal, presents, bows, rayons, knit, acrylic, or yarn were correct. The rest of it I can be certain that it is at least almost correct. {{User:Ten Ten/sig}} 00:44, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

::Well, if you follow that link I gave you, you can see that I had to change most of it. I'm a native German speaker, by the way. And please also have a look at [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Subtitles%3Apqtrailer%2Fde&diff=411610&oldid=411592 the changes I made to the Peasant's Quest trailer]. The only line that I have left unchanged is "Burninated!". I'm really sorry to tell you this, but your German isn't good enough for this, yet. As I said, I appreciate that you are trying to do this — and I know how hard and exciting it is to learn a second language — but you're not quite there yet. I'm sure you can find something else to help the wiki or the subtitles project. :-){{User:Loafing/sig}} 01:09, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Do I know you?

Hey, are you in my algebra class? There's someone who's nickname is Ten-Ten. Ya know, in Mr. Tocco's class? I could be wrong, there may be ten thousand Ten-Tens in the world. If I am, sorry for the strange message. Steve Talk Contributions 01:07, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about the mix up. I don't even live near you anyway! Steve Talk Contributions 12:11, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

German Subtitles

Hey there, Ten2. It's great that you tried a German translation of Subtitles:seasonalsweaters/de. Since you said that your German is "highly marginal", I think I should mention that the translation guidelines say that you should "only translate subtitles if you are skilled in both English and the desired language." And to help you improve your German, here is how a native speaker would translate it ;-) Keep on trangling! Loafing 00:17, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

I worded that in a not-so-right way. It's not so much that my GERMAN is marginal, it's that my german VOCABULARY is marginal, so I was uncertain if the words for seasonal, presents, bows, rayons, knit, acrylic, or yarn were correct. The rest of it I can be certain that it is at least almost correct. · · T2|Things 00:44, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, if you follow that link I gave you, you can see that I had to change most of it. I'm a native German speaker, by the way. And please also have a look at the changes I made to the Peasant's Quest trailer. :-) Loafing 01:09, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
