Welcome to the Homestar Runner Wiki (HRWiki for short)! I'm Bluebry muffin, and thought I might formally welcome you. If you need any help whatsoever, you can reply to this message (click the edit bar at the top) or ask me on my talk page (again, use the edit tab or the "+" tab).

About your user page, you can place WHATEVER YOU WANT on it. Just make sure to follow the guide lines on this page. You are also allowed 2 personal images, which are images made just for user pages and user talk pages.

Hi, welcome to the wiki. Here is one thing that will make things easier as you become acclimated to to tedious things like getting a link right...at the bottom next to save page first click the show preview button. This will allow you to proof-read and check your links before saving and logging it on the recent changes page. As you might have already seen, if you typed the link correctly, it will appear dark blue. If its wrong it will be red. External links are a lighter blue.

Hi, I saw you were a little perplexed with how to do PNGs. Basically, you need an image program that can make them. I have Microsoft Photo Editor, that does it. My Paint does not, but I think some versions of Paint will. When you save an image, select how you want it saved, and see if PNG is listed. If not, you need to find a program that will.

By the way, an actual photo can be JPEG, and GIFs are OK if it's animated. But otherwise we use PNG here. Hope that helps! - Qermaq - (^T/C)  00:54, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Also, make sure to include the {{web-screenshot}} template on every image from Homestar Runner, unless not on the site and in phisical from, like a DVD screenshot (how is that phisical? German Subtitles

Hey there, Ten². It's great that you tried a German translation of Subtitles:seasonalsweaters/de. Since you said that your German is "highly marginal", I think I should mention that the translation guidelines say that you should "only translate subtitles if you are skilled in both English and the desired language." I worded that in a not-so-right way. It's not so much that my GERMAN is marginal, it's that my german VOCABULARY is marginal, so I was uncertain if the words for seasonal, presents, bows, rayons, knit, acrylic, or yarn were correct. Well, if you follow that link I gave you, you can see that I had to change most of it. I'm a native German speaker, by the way. And please also have a look at the changes I made to the Peasant's Quest trailer. The only line that I have left unchanged is "Burninated!". I'm really sorry to tell you this, but your German isn't good enough for this, yet. As I said, I appreciate that you are trying to do this — and I know how hard and exciting it is to learn a second language — but you're not quite there yet. Dude, no reason to give up editing! That's how a wiki works... I think most of my edits have been changed as well, and that's OK. Just keep hanging in there! Also, you've not been "banned" from the subtitles project. You're more than welcome to continue working on the English subs! Those English subs that you created were well done.
