+ | Measure your pumpkin and decide how big you can/want to make the carving. Make sure you leave an inch or two on the edge so your pumpkin (in my case, a Cheat O' Lantern!) is stable. Then size the stencil to your measurements and trace the stencil - I used a thick-bladed knife to cut out the stencil while pressed against the pumpkin (thick blade so you can see the cuts). Do the normal pumpkin carving stuff, cut the topp off and clean 'er out.
