Cutting the Fact?

What does it mean when it says "cut the fact"? --~Rebecca~ RJMT 23:20, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

It means edit the page, find the fact, and highlight it. Then, press Ctrl+X (Command+X on the Mac) to cut it to the clipboard. Clean up any extra asterisks or spaces. Then, when you're creating a new item in STUFF, paste the fact from the clipboard. This ensures that you don't forget any part of the fact in question. — It's dot com 23:30, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Totally Confused

What I meant was as follows... It says you place the ((checkstuffpage)) header at the top of the fun facts section. Do you put the fun fact you want to STUFF underneath that header? Or not until you go to the 2nd step? The Coachsmith 20:15, 30 December 2005 (UTC) (Finally signin' posts)
