More of the same

Another 'hey, this is what all the music from this genre sounds like' strong bad email? Oh well, the rusty meat was funny.

Strong Bad likes generalisations, doesn't he? --DorianGray
totally. also notice all of those bands are incredibly bad and steriotypically punk. are the brothers chaps trying to send some sort of message here? Seriously 20:51, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I agree, all two of those bands were very punk. And those deutch sounding words that Taranchula used sounded like they could've been more punk than metal as well. And I know TBC were trying to make a legitimate contribution to the death metal scene, but trying just ain't good enough. They should really think twice before making such laughable music.
The music is laughable on purpose. This was a good one.

Square Mad

I thought Strong Mad bending down was very... Insightful. I had no idea just how "Square" he really was... Thunderbird 20:45, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that guy's like a big square. It's just weird is all. Un...settling. And creepy. Although we've seen that sort of thing in fingers before. --DorianGray
We also get a sense of Strong Mad's shape in Strong Bad is a Bad Guy, though the character styles are a bit different there. I think this cartoon shows it the most clearly, so far. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:50, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
The Strong Mad Figurine is also a big square, replicated exactly as seen in the cartoon. —BazookaJoe 20:54, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Mmmmh. I gotta get that set soon. I've only got set #2. Thunderbird 21:08, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Actually, the figurine has him with more of a football-shaped top. SaltyTalk! 21:33, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

But still really flat though, right? --DorianGray
Oh yeah, flat as a pamcake. SaltyTalk! 22:06, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

This is not at all the first time we've seen the top of Strong Mad's body, so I don't see why it should say that... --Spanky The Dolphin 23:41, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

What the crap is up with the edit conflicts??

Did something change in MediaWiki recently that causes edit conflicts to occur when two people submit edits to COMPLETELY DIFFERENT sections of the page at the same time? Twice now, I've had to resolve multiple edit conflicts while I'm editing, say, Easter Eggs, and another person edits Remarks. I thought MediaWiki was supposed to be smart enough to handle both of those edits independently of one another. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:58, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

I thought so, too. Anyhow, it's bugging the crap out of me. —FireBird|Talk 21:01, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
It just did it for me as well. —AbdiViklas 21:15, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
It's not fixed in the version that we are running. —BazookaJoe 21:24, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
I distinctly remember this working (and thus not having this section-editing problem) BEFORE the whole NSMC mess forced us to upgrade our security. I wonder if the new security components are affecting things... — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:56, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Is somebody actually working on it? Thunderbird 21:06, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

No. I gave up. Has Matt? (talk) 21:07, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Any vetern want to step up to the plate? I could work on some of it, but I've got no gurantees how much longer I'll be able to stick around. Thunderbird 21:08, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Heimstern's doing it. Has Matt? (talk) 21:09, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Okay, as long as it's being taken care of. And not by more than one person. Thunderbird 21:10, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Oh. Because I would've volunteered. I mean, if he drops it, I'll take care of it... teeeffoh! 21:11, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Heimy's doing it? Then, uh, sorry for encroaching.--אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

Picture

Is there anywhere we can use this: TheThin 22:13, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

It looks usefull, but it has some cropping issues and I can't think of anywhere to put it. SaltyTalk! 22:23, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Wouldn't that go under something like TGS Issue 10.3 or something? Darthvader66 23:33, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

I bet you could put this on Minor TGS Characters for an entry for Brainkrieg... --DorianGray

Looks like forum fodder. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:07, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Whats that? TheThin 23:09, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
The forum? It's where you go to discuss non-wiki HR-related stuff. Click on the forum link at the bottom of the main article. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:11, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
I con't go there. TheThin 23:14, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Why not? In any event, stuff like this doesn't belong on article Talk pages. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:28, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Every time I try to go on it it doesn't load. TheThin 23:30, 16 January 2006 (UTC)\
Odd, seems to work just fine for me. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:32, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
