:Yup. I was born and raised in a border town. I am very good with Spanish and English. Except for a missing comma now and then, but most of the time those are trivial. Even though, I don't "Translate" I "Localize" I don't translate directly, but I instead change some wordings to appeal spanish speaking viewers. Like what I did with Decemberween (which I changed to Diciembridad, which has same meaning, but better localization). Don't worry, the translations are in good hands.{{unsigned|Tehleet|22:44, 18 February 2007}}

::Sweet :-) I was just wondering. My Spanish is only good enough to spot extremely bad translations, so I had no idea if you knew what you're doing ;-) Keep up the good work!{{User:Loafing/sig}} 22:48, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Edits

Muchas gracias for the Spanish edits to the Subtitle Character names. Having not actually conversed in Spanish for years, and then only a bit, I never really peeked through the names, but your edits seem to be much better. A few questions, though. 1) Limozeena? Would the band name have to be altered? Or is the Spanish word limosina? 2) Why "Hombre Fuerte" for "Strong Man", not "Hombre Enojado"? 3) Li'l Strong Bad - would "Fuerto Malo Pico" capture the "li'l" better? Subtitles

Hey there, Tehleet. Good jorb with the Spanish subtitles! At least I think so, I wouldn't know if they're correct ;-) Please note that there should be a subtitles template at the top of each subtitles script, like so. Keep up the good work! Loafing 21:18, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Reworking subtitles

Hey Tehleet, let me echo the above users' thanks for working on the Spanish subtitles. I have one suggestion — I noticed that you deleted the subtitles for Homestar Presents: Presents when you began working on them ([1]). Instead of doing that, you could copy the text into an external editor (like Notepad), make your changes, and then overwrite the the text on the wiki. That way, in the (admittedly unlikely) event that someone wants to watch that toon while you're editing the subtitles, they'll still have the old version available to them. Hope this helps, and thanks again for your work on the subtitles! Trey56 02:53, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
