Amazing work

Talk about good pages! Your work on Strong Bad Sings CD and Crazy Go Nuts University shines through. This almost makes me consider a "featured page of the week" or something. Keep it up! -- Tom 15:58, 15 Sep 2004 (MST)

Thanks Tom, glad I can help out!. Drhaggis 16:42, 15 Sep 2004 (MST)

Yeah, I've seen this those pages. They freakin' rule, man. Well done! --Depressio

Preferences

Hey, if you're up for a challenge of a page, go to 'preferences' (Top right, between talk and watchlist), then click on the HRWiki:User preferences help link. you can click on this one too, but it's good to be in the right place so you know what the link asks for... I started it, but I'm not doing too well... Thunderbird 14:40, 1 Nov 2004 (MST)

Page Edit Comments

Could you kindly explain what some of your page edit comments mean? I like how concise they are and I think I'd like to start using them myself. Some are obvious, like "+cat", but what does "+wiki" mean? Does that mean the page is new? Or does it mean you've wikified it by adding links? I just used it to mean the latter, but I'm now having second thoughts that it may mean the former. Thanks in advance for setting me straight. (Hm. Now that I'm asking you this, I've just looked back through your past 1,000 edits and it seems you aren't using this convention anymore, preferring "add category" to the simple "+cat". I'd still like to know what "+wiki" meant, though. I remember seeing it a lot early on.) --JoeyDay 23:27, 22 Nov 2004 (MST)

No problem. Most of my comments should be obvious, but sometimes brevity can conflict with communication. "+wiki" should be synonymous with "wikification" or "wikify". It mean adding links, some minor formatting, perhaps adding image tags to get a new article or a stub up to the most basic of standards. I got away from the "+cat" shorthand because I was worried about people understanding what I was doing. Some people write essays in their comment box, most leave it blank, which is frustrating and time consuming. - Dr Haggis 14:32, 23 Nov 2004 (MST)

Special Task Request

Whats Up Doc? Thunderbird here again, with a special task for a few of my fellow users. On the Sketchbook page, in the Museum section of that page, the last picture is a bunch of rejected halloween costume ideas. The caption gives the challenge '10 bucks to anyone who can identify them all'. So what I propose is to identify them all. I've already set up a basic 'top left to bottom right' type list under the 'Description' section, with the two most obvious costumes in it. But can we get the other costumes, and win ourselves $10? Any costumes you know would be a help. Thanks. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 02:13, 2 Jan 2005 (MST)

Thanks! That was awsome. So THEY think that the missing one is Belle, but you're not convinced? Neither am I. I'll look into it for a while, keep me posted if you find anything better. Thanks though, that was awsome work. I now know who to come to next time I am unable to complete my self-designated task. How could I have not figured out hellboy...? Quick Question

Since you do most of the formatting ect. around here, I figured I'd come to you with this question. What should I do with the Floppy Disk Container and Halloween Costumes? They're both in the top five for large pages! Halloween costumes I figure I could seperate into seperate pages per-toon, what do you think of that? And what about Floppy Disk Container? Two or three more floppies, and it could become the largest page on the site! Thanks for your input. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 17:32, 6 Jan 2005 (MST)

That's true, sorting by character WOULD probably be easier to find, and I kind of like the idea too, being able to compare the costumes per-character easily. But then again it would mean more pages, ESPECIALLY if characters such as The Goblin, Homsar, and even Stinkoman get their own pages for only a few costumes. Would grouping them into two or three characters a page be a good idea, or should each character be seperate? I really think that SOMETHING should be done however, especially before the next toon.

I agree with you on Floppy Disk Container though, I guess we could just leave it for a few more floppies. What about maybe cutting it into 25 or so disk blocks, and just link from the main floppy page to something like 'Page One' and 'Page Two'? I really like the explanations the way they are though, I REALLY don't want to shorten (m)any of them. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:46, 6 Jan 2005 (MST)

Google

ED!smilde I found that description when I searched for the flash file on the site. Try "yo" site:homestarrunner.com in Google.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for the Barnstar! I shall use it for good -- I mean, for awesome. I'm moving it to my userpage right away! -- FortyTwo 19:19, 20 Jan 2005 (MST)

Note

You might want to change the Strong Bad Sings CD link on your page to link to Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits. I would do it myself, but I just wouldn't feel right editing someone else's userpage. --TheNintenGenius 21:44, 24 Jan 2005 (MST)
