About me and my name

My first experience with HomestarRunner.com was, appropriately, the First Time Here? page. About fifteen seconds into the intro, Homestar utters his classic line: "Oh, right. HomestarRunner.net: It's dot com!"

From that instant, I was hooked. I knew this site was the place for me.

(You may notice on the First Time page that the text appearing on the screen is misspelled as "Its dot com" (without the apostrophe). I got it right for my user name, because everybody knows that if you want it to be possessive, it's just "ITS," but if it's supposed to be a contraction then it's "I-T-apostrophe-S." Scalawags.)

Pages I'm Proud Of

  • Rock Opera Context - This was the very first (and so far only) page I created for the Wiki. Don't think for a second that I did the whole thing myself -- it was a HUGE group effort. But I was the one who set up the page, created the link to the email rock opera, established the general format, and got the ball rolling on filling in the words. As the page was shaping up, I helped fix things here and there whenever necessary. One of my favorite things about the page is that as you read each line, you can remember and enjoy the essence of all the emails in the space of only a minute.
