Well, I know for a fact that the reason they call it Decemberween is partly due to some non-Christian audiences who frequent this website as much as Christians. Well, I just thought of something: what if D'ween was for ALL religions? :What on Earth are you talking about? The H*R cast don't have religions, or at least, not full ones, they seem to celebrate a watered down version of a the real Xmas-save the idea that presents are an integral part of the day, although it seems real people believe this anyway. Go watch [[A Decemberween Pageant]] and tell me it isn't to do with Christianity.--{{User:Slipstream/sig}} 07:37, 4 October 2007 (UTC) | :What on Earth are you talking about? + | ::As a Christian who doesn't believe in celebrating anything on December 25th due to the pagan origins of the holiday ([http://de.essortment.com/christmaspagan_rece.htm citation]), I still say that calling it Decemberween doesn't change anything. Except references to Christ that would likely offend non-Christians. {{User:Zoom/sig}} 08:00, 4 October 2007 (UTC) |

![]() | Decemberween is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. Xmas addresses
Despite the fact that Decemberween isn't supposed to Christmas, all of the Decemberween URLs end with "xmas2001" and such. Should that be mentioned?
- Not if "xmas2001" refers to the release date of the toon and not the event in the toon.
- There already is a comment to this effect; seems like it should be deleted. — Bill
Aught Five Crap
Shouldn't the new '05 Decemberween 'toon have come out by now? --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay) 15:33, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- I hope it doesn't turn out to be Decemberween in July: The Sequel. THAT would majorly suck. — Has Matt? (talk) 15:36, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- Maybe they're saving it as a New Year's toon...? --DorianGray
- Hmm.... might be... --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

I sure hope they're working on something awexome, it's been stagnant since the fifth!Trelawney 03:00, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
- I knew I'd find a talk page to vent about this.
To the best of my knowledge, all prior Decemberween 'toons were released before Christmas, right? Could this be the first year with NO Decemberween?!! Aaaaa!!!(Maybe Strong Bad stole Decemberween. Somebody call Cindy Lou Cheat.) —AbdiViklas 17:42, 28 December 2005 (UTC)- You'll also want to check Talk:Main Page#Update? for other discussions. And It's dot com knows a few forum links too... (Look up Homestar Coder's talk for those.) --DorianGray
- Yeah, I just bumped into that. And noticed there that 2003 didn't in fact have one in December. I don't know 'bout no July; personally, I'm lobbying for Decemberween in January. —AbdiViklas 19:20, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

- Oh no! Homestar Runner died! The good times are over!--Robert Benedicio 20:03, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
Maybe they just needed a sabbatical? If so, I hope they are enjoying it.71.115.222.77 19:45, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- Indeed they are. They deserve a break. —BazookaJoe 19:48, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Decemberween 2005?
I don't mean anything bad here, but I don't blame TBC for not having any Decemberween toons for '05, what with all the controversy.--Jnelson09 14:31, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, well, they must've gotten over the controversy pretty quickly, because they put up two D'ween toons for '06 (one was email 163 and the other was D'ween Short Shorts. MHarrington 01:57, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
O RLY?
"There were no Decemberween cartoons in 2003 or 2005." They made up for 2003 with Decemberween in July but they did nothing for 2005. I'll delete it.
- While they made up for the lack of Decemberween cartoon in 2004, it doesn't stop the fact that there wasn't one in 2003. --TotalSpaceshipGirl3 20:05, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the reason they withdrew from D'ween in '03 is because it was about this time that Mike and Missy tied the knot. MHarrington 01:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
