This is a bit obscure, but at the end of this cartoon, Sickly Sam says, "I've finally found the love of a lifetime." which could be in reference to a song of the same name from the hard rock band Firehouse (since the Brothers Chaps seem very knowledgable about hard rock bands from that era). Other similar references were "Kevin Dubrow" a Quiet Riot reference from The Bet email and "Here I go again on my own" a Whitesnake reference from the Mile email. Not to mention all the old guitarist pics they have up in their audio recording room (seen in Sample of Style).

I'm pretty sure Dee is a horse, not a cow. For one thing, she has no utter. Plus, a horse would make more sense at a glue factory. {{User:Exhibit A/sig}} 20:09, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Why "Shaboigen"?

Why? I looked and I couldn't see anywhere where it was spelled as Shaboigen, and not the actual spelling of Cheboygan or Sheboygan, depending on which one you're talking about (most likely Cheboygan, because they're in the 20s and referring to bootlegging). --Tony from Cheboygan, MI

"And the rest!"

I'm not going to add it to the page, but did anyone else think about The Robot, Mr. Bland, and Señor at "The Rest"? It's probably a reach, but the one in the middle IS robotic-looking. --Senorial Jay (Convolutions) 09:03, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

No i think you are right that was the first thing i thought when i saw the toon. The-homsarrunner 13:52 2008 Feb 11

The robot, I can see. The other two, not so much. One's an alien (Old Timey Nebulon?!), and the other looks like a peanut with a black eye or something. I don't see the connection. But that's just me. --Bobsmith84 14:05, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

The one on the right reminded me of Emmitt Nervend from Freakazoid. --DavidCatmull

Same thing here. DEFINATLY saw Emmitt Nervend. D: -Aranai 16:28, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

"Dee = Ugly One?"

Is the cow that Sickly Sam ends up with the Old-Timey The Ugly One? I mean, she has quite similar specs and hair.--User:Kerny Mantis 09:45, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

 yea and with the glasses maybe... but we should wait for another opinion because so far the only old timey characters have been the characters that live in Free Country USA so... it probaly isn't The Ugly One.

The Birds?

The Sneak being attacked by the seagulls reminded me of the Alfred Hitchcock movie The Birds. Does anyone else think this is a reference? --Bobsmith84 13:34, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Firehouse reference?

This is a bit obscure, but at the end of this cartoon, Sickly Sam says, "I've finally found the love of a lifetime." which could be in reference to a song of the same name from the hard rock band Firehouse (since the Brothers Chaps seem very knowledgable about hard rock bands from that era). Other similar references were "Kevin Dubrow" a Quiet Riot reference from The Bet email and "Here I go again on my own" a Whitesnake reference from the Mile email. Not to mention all the old guitarist pics they have up in their audio recording room (seen in Sample of Style).

Horse or Cow?

I'm pretty sure Dee is a horse, not a cow. For one thing, she has no utter. Plus, a horse would make more sense at a glue factory. Exhibit A (talk · edits) 20:09, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
