- Email the bet — The Typing Tutor Turbo that The King of Town owns seems to parody Space Invaders with letters instead of aliens.
- Experimental Film — At one point, Homestar is playing Space Invaders, but with presidents' heads instead of aliens.
- HomestarRunner.com PAY PLUS! — The trial game substitues Strong Bad for a spaceship, Homestars for Invaders, and The Cheat for alien missiles.
- Email more armies — The pamphlet that Homestar tears in half contains the cover art for the Atari 2600 version of Space Invaders.
