Root Password can be edited by the first user that was made by the Ubuntu installer. Login to such user, and go to System > Administration > Users and Groups. Unlock the controls, and double click root (or edit it.) You can choose to set the password manually or have it randomized. Also, you should really ask ubuntuforums.org about your ATI (make sure to give them what model it is.) {{User:ColdReactive/sig}} 22:24, 4 September 2009 (UTC) | Root Password can be edited by the first user that was made by the Ubuntu installer. + | :It's a Raedon 2400. I turned overdrive (overclocking) on in Vista (Grr...Vista...), but that seems to crash the driver, or freeze the entire screen (or screens in my case) except the mouse, occasionally. Thank you for your unexpected and appreciated help! I guess I'll join the Ubuntu Forums at some point. |

Strong Sad's Lament
Finaly! Someone else who reads SS's blog! "I'm sorry, Cambridge, will you shut off this force shield?" Oh, and by the way... Lucky. My school blocked homestar, Hrwiki, Strong badia the free, and anything enjoyable! cash money tc 01:04, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Root Password of Ubuntu
Root Password can be edited by the first user that was made by the Ubuntu installer. Login to such user, and go to System > Administration > Users and Groups. Unlock the controls, and double click root (or edit it.) You can choose to set the password manually or have it randomized. Also, you should really ask ubuntuforums.org about your ATI (make sure to give them what model it is.) ColdReactive 22:24, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
