The Visor Robot seems to have been inspired by the robot Maximilian from Disney's "The Black Hole." His voice seems to be very similiar to that of "Microsoft Sam" for Windows XP. He is not related to The Robot. He was also referred to as "fhqwhgads robot" in the Weekly Sketchbook for April 28, 2005.
