Rock legend Peter Frampton has occasionally been referenced to in the early days of the Homestar Runner universe. In particular, Strong Bad seems to be a fan of him.

- Strong Bad Main Page — Upon moving the cursor over the "characters" button, a clip from Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do" will play and a black light will come down. Strong Bad comments, "Oh, check it out, this guy's guitar is totally talking!", referencing Frampton's use of a talkbox to make his guitar play what he says.
