The name Greg appears in the Homestar Runner body of work several times, although not as much as the name Dan.

- Cherry Greg, all four of The Gregs, and Regular Greg are named Greg.
- Email the show (DVD commentary) — Homestar Runner tells Mike Chapman to "call me Greg this time".
- Email kids' book — One of the characters in the book "Everyone is Different" is named Gregor. Strong Bad's alteration states that Gregor is a weird name.
- Email haircut — Strong Bad says "Eh! Greg" as an allusion to Eh! Steve!. "Eh! Greg" is a proposed name for "Ready For Primetime".
- Under Construction — There is an advertisement for "Greg Hosting".
