Has it really been seven years since I wrote that notice? SBCG4AP games aren't very long by themselves, but do you know how much patience it takes to play a slow-run? Deliberately not picking up plot-important objects, delaying plot-critical moves, rubbing every inventory item in the game against every object in the game, performing futile actions multiple times, and playing the events in different orders? And I can't always be sure if I've triggered everything because some responses require actions most sane players wouldn't think to do normally. I guess only a really attractive person like myself has the endurance to play Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People as atrociously as I do for the sake of completeness. -- [[Special:Contributions/68.37.37.196|68.37.37.196]] 00:23, 29 June 2025 (UTC)

I figure at some point I'll play through these games again and wanted to collect things that I can take screencaps of or transcribe when I do so for the good of the wiki. I haven't done a full audit of our dozens of articles and (hundreds of?) images relating to SBCG4AP but figured I'd get the ball rolling. Some wiki elements to further audit/investigate for the list, or to discuss to see if we even need to list them:

  • Additional screencaps — I get the sense in 2025 if someone wants to know what the games are like (and can't/won't get a playable version) they'll just go to YouTube rather than look at screencaps while they read wiki transcripts, so I don't think we need that many new ones. Still, if something like a character or location lacks a descriptive screencap, it should be noted.
  • Screencaps that can be replaced with texture rips — I've done some of this already with things like album covers, but always something to keep an eye out for.
  • Auditing transcripts — Turn on subtitles and click on everyone and everything to make sure we've got it right. Would be a lot of work and might be overkill but what is the wiki if not unnecessarily detailed, eh?

I have the games on Steam and can capture images at 4k. Of course any other gamers are welcome to contribute their imageries. Bleu Ninja 17:36, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

I've expanded the responses section a little just to make sure nothing has been missed with responses not listed. I haven't kept track of progress so I'm not sure what is complete or not. If this ends up being redundant, my apologies, I'd just like to make sure this is tracked. --Stux 21:53, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
