Bill Melendez is often cited in the credits of Peanuts cartoons and various other animations. The name A. Chimendez may be a spoof of B. Melendez, a prolific character animator and producer.
A Chimendez Jr., probably the son of A. Chimendez, wrote the Cheat Commandos "Movie Night".
