Skate videos

Stench of Biblical Proportions
There's a fun fact that says:
The fact that Strong Bad says "a stench of biblical proportions" refers to the Bible and that there was always some kind of destuction going on.

The whole fun fact should be deleted all together, since "A *something* of biblical proportions" is a commonly used phrase to describe something enourmous, such as "a flood of biblical proportions"--Nevrmore 15:18, 5 Jan 2005 (MST)
Moreover, the definition of "biblical" is just that: a reference to the bible. You could say "a pile of hamburgers of biblical proportions" but that doesnt necessarily merit the second half of that comment. --Tony Stony 23:23, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
Has Matt?
I doubt this is a reference to Matt Chapman. It's probably just a coincidence that they used the pun "Has Matt?" because it sounds like "Hazmat", since that is the word for who comes after a chemical spill. You might as well say if they use "Mike" instead of "Microphone", they're talking about Mike. And not all HSR fans know them by any other name than The Brothers Chaps, so they probably wouldn't mkae a joke that not all fans had a way of understanding.
- I think it's very possible to be referencing Matt Chapman. Just because some of the fans won't get a joke doesn't mean they aren't going to put it in there. That's one of the reasons that make Homestar Runner funny! →[[User:FireBird|FireBird]]

- Two questions: 1, "Has Matt?" is highlighted in the transcript, and the Wiki standards seem to say that we shouldn't ever do that. However, I'm not sure how else to incorporate a link to Has Matt? - any ideas? 2, in regards to the discussion above, I always thought the "Has Matt?" joke was an indirect reference to "Got Milk?" - a way to reference the "Got Milk?" commercials while also poking fun at the term "hazmat". —

Full Storyline
There's the possibilty that everyone is correct in their story. Observe:
- Strong Bad writes that he loves "Carla Lewis"
- Strong Bad realizes his embarassing mistake and tears up that part of the couch.
- Mysterious Figure (I have a sneaking suspicion that it's Bubs) eats chili and pukes in the tear. Sews it up before anyone notices
- Strong Bad cuts open the area that was sewn up. The puke has rotted over the months/years and the scent of it overwhelms him. A Haz-Matt? team is required to remove the stench of the mysterious figure's old puke
- The Haz-Matt? team patches up the couch
- Homestar throws Teddy Grahams at the cieling.

Computer miscommunications (Declined)
At the beginning of the email, Strong Bad tells Compy not to give him any cross talk. This is refering to the transient signal interference that comes from two wires running parallel to each other which can cause erroneous signals to be sent/received. (I welcome rewrite suggestions)

Um... Real World Reference?
Regarding:
"Crosstalk" refers to an interference phenomenon commonly found on Parallel ATA (PATA) cables in most computers. This is caused when signals passing through wires are too strong and inadvertantly are transferred to adjoining wires, causing errors. This is probably what Strong Bad thinks is happening (why Compy won't print out the bill), while also creating a small pun, as in backtalk.
Um... What? Even with the qualifer (PROBABLY what Strong Bad thinks etc...) this seems like an EXTREME stretch to me. More than likely it's a play on the whole childish

Phenomenon rather than some kind of crazy PATA cable nonsense. Did this wording pass a vote? Am I nuts?
