The part where Mike lists all the things he did for Strong Bad and he replies with, "What have you done for me lately?" is a reference to The Simpsons, where Bart carries out a conversation with Krusty in an almost exact way

Arguments for:
- The conversation is almost identical.
- A lot of animators borrow from The Simpsons. It's the king of cartoons. (Not a reference to Pee Wee's Playhouse, so don't ask.)
- The last line (I got you that danish/coffee) is not a common phrase.
Arguments against:
- The conversations are really not that similar.
- "What have you done for me lately?" is a common phrase.
- It could also be a reference to Janet Jackson's song, or Eddie Murphy's stand-up act based on that song. It's impossible to pinpoint concretely.

Bart: Here's a danish, Krusty!
Krusty: Gimme, gimme, gimme! {devours it} Now that's danish! Where'd you get it?
Bart: I stole it from Kent Brockman.
