What the Cr4p?
Since when did we pronounce "Teh Ch8t" as "The Ch-eight-et"?? I thought it was well understood that "Teh Ch8t" translated to "The Cheat". (We're going for "What it means", not "How it's pronounced".) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 17:56, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
- Indeed. — It's dot com 18:00, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
- I agree, it was preety well before. Maybe it just sounds like that because saying "Teh Ch8t" in proper English would sound more like "The Chait," which may sound like an Australian accent. ♥ teeeffoh! 18:56, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
- I think it should be consistent with the fun fact here. Change the fact or change the page. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:22, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, I see how you can get "The Chaitt" out of that, but that's still talking about how it's pronounced. This page isn't addressing that - it's addressing what the Leetspeak MEANS, and it's pretty clear that "Ch8t" = Cheat, regardless of how it's pronounced. —
