My current stress level: Pretty stressed

Welcome to my userpage. I promised more to come later. Here it is (much much later than I expected it to be). For those of you who don't know me, my name is Stu. I am a twenty-something computer scientist/mathematician in training. I should be finishing up my degrees from the University of Utah in the Spring of 2006. I will be completely honest here and say that even though I am an admin around here, this is all pretty new to me. For the time being, I am going to simply be stealing ideas from other's userpages. At least until I can find my own ;)

About Me

As stated above, I am a twenty-something (24 if you have to know) college student. I also work part-time as a computer consultant, a theater stage-hand, and a games/hobby/card store clerk. Did I mention that I am double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics at the Univeristy of Utah? Occasionally, I get some time to log on to my various computers and play some games.

Me and the Wiki

This is a sad statement. I haven't really figured out the "new" wiki software yet. When we made the transition from Tavi, I was having some health problems, school problems, and work problems. The last thing on my mind was learning a new formating language. To top things off, I started working on the forum.

Me and the Forums

My name's Stu McClure! You might remember me from...

Actually, my last name isn't McClure, but you may better recognize me from over on the hrwiki forums as one of the admins. I like to think that I had something to do with the starting of the forums. I had a little experience with phpbb before, and suggested to Joey that we look at splitting off the chit-chat from the wiki. Before MediaWiki, every page didn't have it's own "talk" page. The forums made more sense then.

But now, we have a raucous time in the R&P and OT forums. We try to answer questions people have about the wiki, the forums, computers, or life in general.

Me and the IRC Forums

Another thing that I like to think that I was involved in the early days of the irc channel. When I have free time I hang out there, usually under the nick _stu (as stu was already registered)
