Thanks

Thanks for all the work put into the big move. We all appreciate it greatly. Thanks! -- FireBird

I wish I could take credit for some of this stuff... But I really haven't done anything here. (Just look at the pages I have changed). I am just now starting to figure out how all of this works. :)

Thanks for visiting though.

-Stu

Oh good!

Glad to see you're back. And that you've updated your user page. — talk Bubsty edits 17:18, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
Good heavens. I make one "little" change, and everyone and their dog takes notice :) — hr.pngStu My Talk
Well, you're like the admin who's never here. Always at the forum. :P - Joshua 17:30, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
What about AgentSeethroo and FortyTwo? — talk Bubsty edits 17:34, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
I don't see them around here. Do you? ...and I don't think FortyTwo ever did much of anything on this wiki... - Joshua
I don't. According to his contribs, FortyTwo did some troll fighting in Febuary. Thats something. — talk Bubsty edits 17:36, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
Her contribs. — It's dot com
And she isn't on the admin team. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 07:18, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
You're right, she's not on the Admin Team (note the caps), but she is a sysop, which is also called admin (note the lowercase). (I know, I know: tomater, dermatermorts.) — It's dot com 05:55, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I thought you meant admin as in sysop not admin as in admin team. — talk Bubsty edits 16:39, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

Sig

If you want a timestamp in your sig, you can either insert the sig with four tildes, or put five tildes one space after {{User:Stu/sig}}. The way your sig is now — with the timestamp in the template — you'll be putting the time as 5:33 on 23 December 2005, every time you enter it. Personally I like to use three tildes, an "at" symbol, and five tildes. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ @ 07:31, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

I probably would have figured that out eventually, but you certainly saved me some time :) Thanks for the heads up! Another question (if you don't mind) Why isn't "My Talk" showing up as a link? On my sig template page, it appears to be a link, but just not when I use it on the wiki. Any ideas why that is?— hr.pngStu My Talk 16:57, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, it's not showing up as a link on this page because of how the software works. If you put a link on the page it links to, it just becomes bold text. I dunno what to tell you if it's not working anywhere else. Hope that helps. --DorianGray
If you want it to show up as a link when you post it on your talk page, have it link to a page such as User talk:Stu/redirect, and have that page redirect here. That way it'll be a link here. - Joshua 17:06, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
I finally figured it out (after a short conversation with Joey) and what you guys were saying. At first I didn't understand what you meant, Dorian. I was tired when I read it. Thanks a bunch for your help though! :) — hr.pngStu My Talk 05:46, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm not the best at explaining technical stuff... As you can probably also see, I have no sig of my own... But glad you eventually got the gist of it.
*squints at it* Yeah, that is kinda incoherent. This is why I don't work with machines (I don't work at all, but that's a different issue).
Anyways, glad to help out (in whatever incoherent way I can). Keep on tranglin'. --DorianGray

Haldo

Hi there. I thought that I'd drop by to say hello and hope that you feel less stressed soon.--Image:Homsar-in-motion.gifhr.pngΨHomsarΨroksΨImage:kookysig.gifImage:Cheat-shrug-tiny.gif 17:05, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the hello and the concern. I am just anxious for grades to come out. There is one class remaining. Of course, it is the class in which I have no idea what my grade is going to be :) — hr.pngStu My Talk 05:25, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
Grades are in, and things worked out just fine :) Woot! — hr.pngStu My Talk 16:03, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

Happy New Year!

I know it's a little late, I just wanted to wish you a happy new year, and may you figure out the "new" softwere! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 11:10, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Thank you E.L. The "new" software is working out ok. Now if I just had a little more time :) — hr.pngStu My Talk 16:04, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
