Talk:Far Off Lands
From Homestar Runner Wiki
This page states that Thomas is from Far Off Lands, but the term Mrs. Commanderson uses is "foreign lands". Should we differentiate? --Upsilon
Perhaps. I thought she said "Far Off". Perhaps we should remove it from the article, unless we want to merge the concept of foreign lands and Far off lands.-Drhaggis 11:29, 15 Nov 2004 (MST)
- We should merge them. Room Temperature Ones are brewed in Foreign Lands. →FireBird
They shouldn't be merged. Foreign Lands and Far-Off Lands are two completely diferrent places; there's no proof otherwise. Think of the completely different analogy of Bubs' Concession Stand and Strong Badia. There's just no proof they're the same place (yes they're close, I know that). -Superdotman
I think that "Foreign Lands" and "Far off Lands" are similar enough to be included in the same article until we have a heck of a lot more info. Far Off lands are a specific case of Foreign Lands. They are both terms for places outside Free Country, USA which is fairly insular if the globe on Main Page 1 is any indication. - Dr Haggis - Talk 15:11, 11 Dec 2004 (MST)
