This Peasant Wearing Short Pants is the star of the Peasant's Quest Preview, and the subsequent game Peasant's Quest. His sillouette has since appeared in the Strong Bad E-mail virus, walking through the sky, and he has also been seen in Snow Globe, wearing a festive Decemberween costume.
The sprites used for Rather Dashing are modeled after Graham (and to a lesser degree, his son Alexander) from the old Sierra On-Line "King's Quest" series.
