Letter to Bakery Thrift Store

Dear Bakery thrift Store,
Whom do you think you are
fooling? You sell old baked
goods. The stuff regular
bakeries throw away. So what
if a loaf of bread is only
29 cents? It's old bread.
Should I start collecting
roadkill squirrels, glue
cotton balls to their butts
and open an 'Aftermarket
Rabbit Thrift Store?' Oh,
wait. Yes, I should. Thank You
Bakery Thrift Store. Love, SB.Ivysaur 10:58, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

There's more easter eggs strewn about this email

After the Horses/IT Pros joke, the chimney pipe can be clicked to show a Dullard comic about such a thing. There's also a couple of clickable squares on the Lappy screen before the TSoND; can't figure out what they do though.

Also, click on the plugs underneath the desk after the Tandy explodes for the pixelated explosion again. — 81.178.84.219 (Talk | contribs) 10:57, 2 October 2006 (left unsigned)

Good find :-)  Loafing 11:02, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Links?

There seems to be no links on the website itself to the email, only here. How will the General Public SEE it? --Gerkuman 11:06, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

It's on the email manu. Clear you cache, maybe. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 11:09, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Goof

The lappy seems to still have all its keys, despite one of them being removed in cliffhangers. --60.229.93.56 11:13, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Well spotted. You could have just added directly to the article. Loafing 11:15, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

resolved ?s in retirement article

Hello, I don't have an account, and am having trouble with the editing, so could somebody please change the "?s" in the article? the first ? is "half-FULL bags." the other is "italian herb-CHIPOTLE". thanks.

Glad to see that you did manage to change it yourself :-) Loafing 11:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Possible Read-World Reference

The filenames you get when you click SB's diamond are heavily truncated and abbreviated, and match the style of old DOS 8.3 names (that's in length... 8 letters, a period, and three more letters) that were in use before long file names were made possible through Windows. Such names were used so filenames could still be descriptive and still fit within the 8.3 limitations at the same time. However SB's filenames are still clearly far too long to fit within 8.3 characters. --64.195.243.2 14:12, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Lil' Brudder

I Noticed That When Strong Bad Is Panicing Around Under The Lappys Tail, That It Plays The Same Noise As Lil' Brudder's "Leg Failing" -- Assassinator666 14:19, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I think it's Homsar's walking noise.

Oh, Didn't Realise That They're The Same. My Bad. -- Assassinator666 14:47, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
That sound is used A LOT on the site. It was in cliffhangers too, when the Thnikkaman was waddling away. - Image:TinySaturn2.GIF Saturn 15:15, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Goof-Tastic

I Saw This, And I Think It's A Goof.

Things that happen outside the frame don't count as Goofs. --phlip TC 14:45, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Ok, Didn't Know, Will Take Into Account In The Future -- Assassinator666 14:47, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
But that would be remarkable, don't you think? — It's dot com 15:31, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Which computers?

I noticed the Lappy is listed as a computer for this toon along with the Tandy. Yet, the Lappy's not actually used to answer an email. Is there another reason it's listed on top? Or is that a mistake? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 17:24, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

I wrote that out of habbit, and I think you're right. I'll fix it. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 17:50, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Real World Reference

What about the who-dunit and the 7-eleven/Simpsons Who Shot Mr. Burns? Contest?

Also, what about the Buck-O-Nine Reference?

How will it check

Should we mention that while the Tandy continued to check emails after it broke, the Compy was thrown away immediately after breaking? I mean, how can it check an email with that gaping hole? -71.192.94.44 19:10, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Guess we'll find out tomorrow, eh? --DorianGray
Remember, this is the Talk for this page, not the Forum. As for noting that the Tandy checked emails after breaking, that's already noted on the Tandy page, and it wouldn't belong here anyway. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:17, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Back button added late?

Can anyone else verify that the Back button did not originally appear? I watched this a couple hours ago and I could swear there wasn't a Back button that time around. Octan 21:08, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
