Talk:Snowglobe
From Homestar Runner Wiki
I doubt "Nana" is a reference to Cheat Commando's...O's. They just happened to use the word in both toons. Seeing the sports court in "Yello Dello" doesn't make it a reference to "Jorb Well Done." I changed "is" to "might be." -FatPamPam
Agreed, FPP. Also, perhaps we could mention that Trogdor's "voice" is akin to any computer-generated voice synthesizer, much like Stephen Hawking's "voice." -FireLily
Anyone know who deleted my comment on Nana being a reference to Ice Climber? It seems relevant because A. It's winter, thus Ice; and B. There is a reference to NES games also on the site in japanese cartoon. -BegyLips
Did Trogdor ever speak in Peasants Quest? Because the game would not work on my system. -Everybody!
Time's up
'"At 5908:33 the time will stop." Dare I ask how this was determined? Did some freak really hold down their mouse button for upwards of four days? Gus 05:15, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
- Probably used a seek bar. That's the way I'd have done it. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 05:31, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Glitch or not?
- "If you click and hold the snowglobe, then drag the cursor off the screen, release the mouse, and then drag the cursor back onto the screen, the snowglobe will continue to follow your cursor without your having to hold down the mouse button. Also, the timer will continue to count even if it is not moving."
- Is this a glitch? It's a glitch in the flash, so I say it is! How about you guys? It's true. TheYellowDart—(t/c)
- It's a flash artefact. This will be the case in all flash files, because it's a glitch in Flash itself. Or a glitch in the browser, or the operating system. Somewhere in some event queue somewhere a mouse-up is being ignored because the mouse is outside the plugin area. But there's nothing TBC could do about that... and we tend to avoid listing that sort of thing in Glitches. And for what it's worth, it works as expected under Linux/Firefox/Flash 9. --phlip TC 05:48, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
