Stun, that, or the other thing
Ok, where in Star Wars is "set ___ on stun" used? I missed that. And do other sci-fi instances merely stack up to be references to Star Trek themselves? - Qermaq - (T/C)

- Opening scene of a new hope, stormtroopers set to stun leah... Did you even read Trey's edit summary, and as for the other ones, no. - "Did you even read Trey's edit summary" You know, that's a little arrogant. I eventually did while researching and acting. What I'm saying is that "set phasers to stun" is very Star Trek. It's a really closely related and associated phrase. I'm saying that there's a strong argument that all uses of "set ___ to stun are directly or indirectly referencing Star Trek. - Qermaq - (T/C)

- I agree with DeFender on this one. A Google search for "set to stun" star trek turns up slightly more results than "set to stun" star wars, but there are enough mentions of setting to stun in both to make it TTATOT. — Has Matt? (talk) 18:55, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
