Talk:160 Seconds
From Homestar Runner Wiki
So, guys, I attempted the huge task of transcripting 160 Seconds. I got all the Tandy Emails. I don't know how to claim a transcript but I'm doing that. So you can edit any typo's I made or things you think you could be more correct but please do not add. I will do the rest tomorrow. D&D greg. Some time, UTC
- Hi, we generally don't claim transcripts for the long haul. See, individual editors do not have any sort of "ownership" of the wiki's articles - they belong to the community. If another editor wants to work on the article, that leads to its completion in a timely fashion and that's a good thing, so that's why individual editors cannot prevent other editors from editing an article when they are away.
- If you're working on a transcript (or other long section) actively, you should add {{inprogress}} to the section you are working on to tell other editors you are actively editing. Be sure to use the Show Preview function and to save when you are done. But if you plan to take a break from editing, you should remove that {{inprogress}} from the section as a last step.
- Oh, and if you type four tildes (like this - ~~~~ - at the end of a talk post, it will turn into a signature and a timestamp. Hope this was helpful and informative! - Qermaq - (T/C) 13:31, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Okay. Sorry. I'm fairly new to the wiki. Thanks for all your help. I'll try to do the rest of the emails today. D&D Greg 14:52, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hey guys I have to do something so I removed the "In Progress" template. I won't be able to work on it until tomorrow so anybody can finish or add if they want. D&d greg 19:29, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- It appears not a lot of people have SBemail.exe disc 5 or don't want to write this transcript. Anyway, my school only has 3 more days so as soon as it is over I'll get to finishing this, and a couple of DVD commentaries.
