Characters sometimes feature themselves as guests in their own works, such as music albums or TV shows.

- Email pizzaz — Strong Bad features himself on the Strong Bad-type Interview Progrum.
- Email 4 branches — Homestar features himself on The Show AM.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 13 (Easter egg) — Peacey P says that he's a guest star on his own album, Deliberance.
