RKOL Sighting

Recently, I heard on an internet radio (radio KoL, from the website www.kingdomofloathing.com) a song called "Strong Bad vs Rammstein: The System is Du" that was taken off of this email. I don't know if this is a real song, or something an anonymous band put together, so I'm putting it here for input. -flatluigi 14:26, 10 Dec 2004 (MST)

RKOL sighting confirmed: it's in the Google cache for the KoL radio front page. Full song title is "Strong Bad vs Ramstein - The System is Du (DJ Defekt mix)" The name of the radio show (and it assumedly includes deejay handles) was "EyeSpeculum & duckyfresh's Assault on All That's Decent" -Anonymoz 17:04, 08 Aug 2005

-A note- this is because "Rollover" is the time when the whole website is taken down each night for maitenance. Thus the playage (is that a word?) of "The System is Du"

Removal of external link

• A DJ named "DJ Chris Le" created a rave remix of Strong Bad's techno song which can be downloaded at his site.

Silent J

Strong Bad might have said "Oh very clever" after reading the name Silent J because it could be a reference to Jay and Silent Bob, a pair of recurring characters from Kevin Smith's movies. It also may be clever because it's referring to the concept of a silent letter (for example, one would say "the word 'jalapeno' has a silent J"), and making reference to Silent Bob at the same time.

  • I think this is what is meant as well. After reading an e-mail, Strong Bad almost always starts his response with "Well, [insert name]", or "......, eh [insert name]?" • I know that the horse is long-since dead. But while the J isn't particularly silent in "jalapeño", it is much more silent in "marajuana". DJ Silent J - there is a DJ by the name of Silent J in the Phoenix, Arizona rave scene. He spins Trance/Electro, and is in charge of Silent Unspoken Entertainment, aka SU Ent.

Old movie quote

Overlapping Voice = Duplicate Characters?

I don't think Strong Bad overlapping his own voice is really the same thing as Duplicate Characters, but it happens often enough that maybe it needs it's own article? Anyone else agree?--.Johnny Jupiter! ^talk _cont 03:24, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Um, I don't understand the first question. Anyway, considering that the overlapping voices are a part of the parody, I don't think it counts as an occurrence of duplicate characters.
