Gulp

To gulp means to audibly swallow. It is an action performed by someone to show nervousness. However, often times when characters are distressed or nervous, they actually speak the word "gulp" out loud, rather than perform the action itself.

• Stinkoman 20X6 Level 5 — said by 1-Up, after Stinkoman refuses to help him.
• Date Nite — said by Homestar Runner, in the midst of asking Marzipan if she "wants his bod."
• A Death-Defying Decemberween — said by Homestar, after Bubs explains that Homestar's epitaph is printed on the sled.
• 2 Part Episode: Part 2 — said by Gunhaver, Silent Rip, and Crackotage, as the Topplegangers approach them.
