Rock legend Peter Frampton has occasionally been referenced to in the early days of the Homestar Runner universe. In particular, Strong Bad seems to be a fan of him.

Appearances

• Strong Bad Main Page — Upon moving the cursor over the "characters" button, a clip from Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do" will play and a black light will come down. Strong Bad comments, "Oh, check it out, this guy's guitar is totally talking!", referencing Frampton's use of a talkbox to make his guitar play what he says.
• Email making out — The page title reads "Frampton's Camel", the name of Frampton's band; the emailer mentions Peter Frampton.
• The Best Decemberween Ever — One item among the "crazy crap" that Homestar Runner rummages through in Bubs' Concession Stand is a copy of the album Frampton Comes Alive!, an extremely popular live album.
