How is this a computer? Rogue Leader / (my talk)

Who said it was a computer? It is in the Computer category, but that doesn't mean it is a computer. If you have a better idea, please feel free to share it here. -- Tom 23:31, 8 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Oh, Uh, a category for computer programs. Temple of Ashphai, this, edgar junior, internet, Rogue Leader / (my talk)
Edga Jr. is in the same Computers category. And we don't have articles for the Internet or Temple of Apshai. -- Tom 23:44, 8 Aug 2005 (UTC)
What exactly would we put in the Internet entry, anyway? This? --Shadow Hog 18:18, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Edgaware Merge

I'm thinking the two other forms of Edgaware should be moved here... they each only appeared once and this way they could be classed together as a single running gag. - Joshua 00:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

(originally posted on Talk:Edgar's Baby's Daddy) I think that Edgar has become a running gag. Furthermore I suggest that all three of the Edgar references be combined onto one page (since the individual programs probably won't be heard from again, but the theme is constant). — It's dot com 00:38, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
I completely agree. Edgar must be a popular, if not often used, brand of software in Free Country. --DorianGray

Edgar's Baby's Daddy

Is my browser the only one that has a problem viewing the Edgar's Baby's Daddy table? (And I mean the text version, not the image.) The image inside the table kinda messes it up for me. Has Matt? (talk) 21:29, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

What's your browser? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:30, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Netscape. {cringes} Has Matt? (talk) 21:31, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
EDIT: Yeah, I tried fixing it. No work. Bluebry 21:31, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Mozilla. {doesn't cringe.} Bluebry 21:33, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Do you have to run Netscape? Try Firefox if you can. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:39, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
It looks weird in Firefox. Bluebry 21:44, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Wait, why not just remove the image? Bluebry 21:44, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
For real. We don't have images on any of the other text representations on the site, and there's the actual image just off to the right. — It's dot com 21:49, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
If it doesn't work and can't be made to work for users, then it should be removed here and on the other page too. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:54, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Odd, it renders just fine here on IE, Firefox and Opera. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:51, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Odd, it doesn't render fine in Firefox. Bluebry 22:31, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Here's a screenshot of my view in FireFox:

Yes, the picture is messing up the text. The top now looks much different than the reaql version. Bluebry 22:35, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

How's it now? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:38, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Much better! Bluebry 22:40, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
I reckon it would be better to just kill the image entirely... --phlip TC 22:55, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Now it's not messed up for me anymore. Though there's still the possibility that someone won't be seeing it correctly. Has Matt? (talk) 12:46, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Linux version

Edgarware as a shell/Perl script: I knocked this up shortly after the "Virus" mail was released, and it's installed on the Linux systems in the computer science department at the University of Southampton. Don't know if it belongs here, on the episode node, on the "School Sightings" node, or nowhere at all.--81.86.106.14 02:00, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps the fanstuff wiki would be a good place to put it... It is quite a good recreation. --phlip TC 02:29, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
yer right, that did crash horribly on non-ANSI terminals --71.204.12.60 03:10, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Edga Jr.

Edga Jr. reminds me of Red Herring from A Pup Named Scooby Doo.

This is the best picture I could find. He had the same red hair, and freckles.

I think curly red hair and freckles are often used for troublemaker types. I remember one from a book from decades past named Eddie, who was a red haired rapscalli...wag. --DorianGray

Edga Circle

Edga's Baby's Daddy would be Edga. Should this be noted... or at least that this is a play on the phrase "Baby Daddy?" DemolitionSquid 04:22, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

I dunno. The remark has been in and out of wiki existence. There's also a duscussion here, but it doesn't do a whole lot. It wouldn't have anything to do with "baby daddy" reference since Edgar's Baby's Daddy = Edgar is the more likely joke. Then, it boils down to: is this a "YOUR JOKE A SPLANED"? —BazookaJoe 04:32, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Could someone (or Simone) get rid of...

Can someone get rid of one of the pictures of Edga's Baby's Daddy? It's redundant.-LordQuackingstick 14:11, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Two'd!

Why are there two versions of each splash screen visible? Bad Bad Guy 23:00, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

A picture should never replace text in a wiki. The text version is there so it's more easily searchable. The picture helps show its actuality and show any graphics included in it. --DorianGray 23:02, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

HELP!

I'm new here! I don't know how to add pictures to artitles!

Type [[image:(name of image)]]. Example: [[Image:qod 1 - homestar.PNG]] becomes Image:qod 1 - homestar.PNG . Shwoo 12:59, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

I still have one question...how do you know what an image is called?

Click on it. The title of the page is the name of the image. You do have to find it first, though. Shwoo 13:16, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

i know i've already said this, but thank you SO much, Shwoo!
