Duct Tape is an item that often appears on the site. It tends to be employed in situations involving various degrees of malice, or for extreme home repair.

- Email 12:00 — Bubs duct tapes an alarm clock to the VCR. The duct tape has yellow hairs on it from an attempt to duct tape The Cheat to the VCR.
- The Interview — The Cheat has his hands duct-taped behind his back, as well as some over his eyes.
- Email your friends — The Cheat is duct-taped to Pom Pom.

- Email privileges — One of the medallion gold plus club privileges is "use of duct tape."
- Email time capsule — Strong Bad thinks duct tape might be the only thing more durable than magnetic tape.
- Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon — The Poopsmith has his mouth duct-taped shut. Also, the Jail has duct tape on it.
- Bug In Mouth Disease — Strong Bad tapes his head to the TV. A roll of duct tape is also seen on the floor next to the TV during the opening credits.
- Everybody to the Limit — When the multiple CDs are flying across the screen there is also a roll of duct tape.

- Fish Eye Lens — In the beginning of the Powered by The Cheat segment (the actual music video), the word "yo" can be seen in duct tape on the couch (when Coach Z sings "Can you help me with my hip hop ditty, yo?").
