Flaming Glorbes!

Seinfeld is an American TV Show created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David. It is known for its quirky and neurotic humor and the uncomfortable and hilarious situations the main characters find themselves in. The show has been referenced several times in the cartoon.

Appearances

  • Hairstyle Runner— An entry on the gallery says "David putty is the tick" which refers to Patrick Warburton's roles as both David Puddy in Seinfeld and the title character in The Tick, a short-lived live action show on FOX.
  • Club Aquatica Interview - 29 Oct 2003— Matt mentions watching a lot of Seinfeld.
  • King Dingo— The plot of the game parallels the highly publicized 1980 disappearance of Azaria Chamberlain in Australia's Northern Territory and the ensuing trial. The incident and was later lampooned on the show, spawning the briefly popular catchphrase, "A dingo ate my baby!"
  • Email pizzaz— Strong Bad dressing up as a captain for an interview is similar to an episode of Seinfeld in which Jerry is forced to wear a pirate shirt for an interview and is asked why he is wearing it by his interviewer several times.
  • Bug In Mouth Disease— Homestar overreacting over swallowing a bug is similar to a Seinfeld episode, in which George did the same thing.
  • Family Resemblence— The logo for Jurvy-Skat resembles that of the logo of the show.
  • Email theme song— Strong Bad in front of the side brick wall of Bubs' Concession Stand in the closing credits refers to Jerry Seinfeld's ending stand-up comedy segment of episodes of Seinfeld. The credit "based on the comedy stylings of Little Strong Bad" also refers to this and other programs starring comics.
  • Later That Night...— Homestar and Strong Sad reenact a common recurring scene in Seinfeld whenever George comes over to Jerry's apartment. Also, Coach Z's "Like flaming glorbs..." is a reference to "Flaming Globes of Sigmund", a film-within-a-show from the Seinfeld episode "The Heart Attack", in which Seinfeld creator Larry David (who The Poopsmith is dressed as) speaks the line "like flaming globes!"
