Naturally, we shouldn't list every rhyme that ever appears in a song (the list would be too long and too useless to be manageable), but what about the strained or silly rhymes? For example: [[Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2|"It's the new KOT! In the Two Thousand and Three plus Three!"]] (which of course took place in 2006). --{{User:Jay/sig}} 23:39, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

::Hmm. I don't think rhymes in songs are particularly notable. If we begin noting them, there'll be no end to the examples. In music comedy, a big part of the humor is in odd and unexpected rhyming - noting all of these would be akin to "explaining the joke". I say actual songs, poems and other typically rhymed material should be considered off topic for this article. {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 04:14, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Okay I give up I don't see what rhymes here: Email yes, wrestling — The Announcer introduces Strong Bad thus: "And hailing from the age of exploration, the namer of nations, Il Cartographer!"

:Well, it's sort of a rhyme. The definition of a rhyme is "Correspondence of sound between words or the endings of words." Explor'''ation''' and n'''ation'''s kinda rhyme, although nations is plural and exploration is not. {{User:Tenerence Love/sig}} 04:06, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Crackotage, schmackotage.

Should there be some mention of the Cheat Commando Crackotage, considering he rhymes practically everything he says? I considered adding something, but I'm not certain what you're going for with this new article. 0rion 09:02, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm trying to focus on instances where a character says something that doesn't make sense in context, that seems to be there only because it rhymes. Most of Crackotage's dialogue makes logical sense and is relevant, I think. I'm still looking for other instances; so far I've only gone through the sbemails. So makey outy 02:12, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm thinking of a particular sbemail where Strong Bad says something before a cutaway from the computer along the lines of "... tonight... so right..." but I cannot find the actual quote nor the sbemail it's in. Maybe I've jogged someone's memory... Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 09:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

STRONG BAD: "So that's a pretty crazy cartoon huh, Josh? But I'm not much of an animator. Though I bet The Cheat makes some crazy cartoons. Let's see what he's cookin' up tonight. Today. Just right." --DorianGray 19:12, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

I was actually considering adding a section for those; I thought of Homestar rhyming "cool tapes" with "a bag of four grapes." So makey outy 04:03, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Umm

Okay I give up I don't see what rhymes here: Email yes, wrestling — The Announcer introduces Strong Bad thus: "And hailing from the age of exploration, the namer of nations, Il Cartographer!"

So I get that immediately after that they rhyme map with crap but that doesn't seem to be what this is talking about so, is there really a rhyme here? --Happypasta 02:56, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Well, it's sort of a rhyme. The definition of a rhyme is "Correspondence of sound between words or the endings of words." Exploration and nations kinda rhyme, although nations is plural and exploration is not. Tenerence Love  04:06, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
