In response to your comment on Tom's talk page, he's actaully pretty much the right hand man. Our proprietor (owner) is actually JoeyDay, and they are assisted by the sysops. But not even JoeyDay makes arbitrary decisions without the input of the wiki as a whole. Your best chance would be to wait for a reply to your input on the page in question's talk page. I've already left one there. And welcome to the site, feel free to ask me or any of the other sysops if you have any further questions. We're always willing to help. Oh, and please sign your posts after leaving comments, simply by typing four little squigglies: ~~~~ after them (They're the seldomn used little things at the top left of most keyboards). • Dude! We're frigging homeslices. You can be my friend too Dinoshaur! Cheatachu72 04:06, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hi, Dinoshaur. I've noticed you've been asking around for some of your friends help. They seem to be asking around for help to, so here are some links for you that hopefully will help you out some.

  • Check out the Introduction page.
  • Definately read the Standards.
  • Read the MediaWiki's User Guide.
  • Check out The Stick if your looking for something to do.
  • Editing Help gives you a large table of all you can do while editing.
  • Check out the User Page guide to tell you what you can and what you can't have on your user space and talk page.

Oh, and one more thing. Please stop having unneccisary chats with your friends. The wiki is not your personal chatting site; it's for Homestar Runner information and HR-related discussions. Please keep this kind of talking off the wiki; try an Instant Messaging program instead. Thanks. —FireBird|Talk 15:07, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Firebird, thanks for your help, thing is, how can I put picyures on my userpage? That is the question. So can you help, or, like get some friends to help me out due to you can't stand my typing about one topic and somehow trying to make it longer in any possible way? Well, I think these pages need a bit more writing on how to do stuff, instructions, you might say, well bye. --Dinoshaur 15:25, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Editing Help shows you how to link images. Find a picture and type [[Image:(picture title).png]]. It's easy once you get the hang of it. —FireBird|Talk 18:27, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • What I always liike to do is find the pic on HRWiki, click it, and at the top of the page, it should say Image:Whateverthecrapitsays.png. Do some copy and paste action onto your page. Cheatachu72 04:28, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Yo its paccy I can help u with the pics
  • First u click image icon on ur tool bar(it should say embedded image)
  • an exaple should pop up it should be like Image:example.jpg
  • Then delete example.jpg(keep the [[ ]] around it)and type in the name of the picture(4 example PomPom.png)
  • click show preview(if it dosn't come up check your spelling, that's what happended 2 me)and then your done

How to add pictures (explain dumb enough so I understand)

Get links from things

Over in the toolbox on the left, click Upload file. (1) Browse to the file on your computer. (2) Write a brief description in the summary area. (3) Click the copyright checkbox. (4) Click "Upload file". Place code on your page in the following format, usually at the very top of the page (although you can place it in other places): [Image:IMAGE NAME|thumb and/or POSITION|SIZE|CAPTION] Pac-man 20:10, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
