Grocery Lists

"If you take a look at my resume, you'll see that I have quite a bit of experience in many different related fields."

Grocery Lists are usually used for keeping track of what foodstuffs people want to buy. Despite this, Homestar Runner will, on occasion, foolishly use them in place of other, more sophisticated forms of writing. He also once "texted" one to Marzipan from a banana.

[edit] Appearances

  • The Interview — When Strong Bad informs him that he is at an interview, Homestar politely shows off his "reh-zoom", in actuality a grocery list. The list has all the s's backwards, and one of the entries is "five".
  • Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2 — Homestar, after getting Marzipan's answering machine proceeds to inform her of a "text message" he's about to send from "Pom Pom's cell phone" (which turns out to have actually been a banana). He then spells out "P-L-Z-spacebar-G-E-T-spacebar-E-G-G-S-spacebar-backspacebar-comma-M-I-L-K-question mark".
  • Email love poems — After Homestar interrupts Strong Bad claiming that "everybody knows [he's] the only one around here with any real no-arms-on experience with the lady-makes", he proceeds to recite a "poem" which Strong Bad immediately recognizes as a "lavishly-produced grocery list". Homestar insists that it's not, claiming that his grocery list is "amazing thing, amazing thing, amazing thing, amazing thing".
