Stand-up arcade games appear frequently in the Homestar Runner universe. Strong Bad especially has an affinity for them, even owning one himself.

• Theme Song Video — Arcade games Dokle and Dokle 2 are seen in Skatetown, USA.
• Arcade Game — Strong Bad plays the arcade game TROGDOR! with Strong Mad, The Cheat and Homestar Runner looking on.
• Email the bet — Strong Bad finds that The King of Town owns the arcade game Typing Tutor Turbo.
• Scrolling Shooter Games Menu — The menu itself is designed to look like a vertical scrolling shooter arcade game.
• Poker Night at the Inventory — After losing all his money and being expelled from the game, Strong Bad will wander over to a stand-up arcade cabinet (Buster Blaster from Sam & Max) in the background and play it for the remainder of the round.
• Classic Stand-up Arcade Game — Strong Bad draws a stand-up arcade game that features "Sister Froosh" and "Sister Dooj". He concludes the video by saying that somebody should make the game.
