[edit] I'm in this
The second Coach Z costume (the kid) is a ten-year-old photo of me. Here's the uncropped photo. Religious Corn 02:05, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
[edit] I'm in this too
I'm the bald Strong Bad in the beginning. My name is Alex Hauptmann, but some of you might know me from Ye Mid Aughts Fanstuff Wiki as ALXXMaXX. In addition to the Strong Bad costume, I've also portrayed Craig Zobel in a documentary a friend of mine made about Homestar Runner's beginnings called Experimental Film. Would this be considered notable enough to mention in "Trivia"? --162.201.37.207 18:16, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
[edit] Hector and Kovitch reference?
I always suspected that the whole 'Xeliogravious IV' bit, particularly the 'That's a good game', was a sort of nod to Homestar's voice-twin Hector from Two More Eggs. "You should really buy this game." Particularly as this toon came out shortly after TBC were working on Two More Eggs. Is the connection too tenuous to mention? --98.194.175.119 01:28, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
[edit] Candy phone
What is the candy phone based on? Wolf O'Donnel 21:48, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
- They're a real-world thing, a "supermarket check-out line"-type cheap novelty product. Pretty much as described in the toon, a small plastic model of a cell phone (or metal tin shaped like a smartphone) filled with small mint, tablet, or hard candies. It's the kind of generic product that many novelty companies do their own spin on, so there's not a single brand to point to or a Wikipedia article on the phenomenon; doing an image search for "candy phone" will bring up a lot of examples. -- Bleu Ninja 04:56, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
