I highly doubt it's an intentional reference, but Gamest is a Japanese arcade gaming magazine. I was pretty amused when I saw it as part of the game's pseudo-medieval speak. felineki

- Just an error. The relevant code section reads
put("Oh wait. Just one, really fat MONK eats at a small table. Upon the table is a STEIN. The exit tis back SOUTH.")
So looks like a mistake to me. Since you can't actually see that bit of text after you've taken the stein, I didn't bother to write out the possibility of it not being there. --phlip TC 19:18, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps we should put in explanations for some of the phrases he says afterwards? Its obvious what "visualize world peas" means, but some are less conspicuous. For example, "Think flatly, act locally" is a parody of the phrase "Think globally, act locally." It doesn't make sense until you remember that in the Middle Ages, people thought the earth was flat, not a globe. Should we include explanations for little subtle jokes such as this on this page, or the main Thy Dungeonman page?
