[edit] Gardenboy

MackProductions has a high-quality video of the animation on YouTube. Should we link to that instead of the mirror? BBG 17:34, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

That YouTube Gardenboy video's summary clearly says, in black and gray: "...a little animation I made..." I'm not 100% sure that we should link to that instead of the mirror, but I just had to explain that it wasn't unofficial as you assumed. BBG 19:53, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
I saw that. The guy who created it is not TBC. Therefore, it is unofficial. There's also no proof that the owner of that account didn't put it up after the fanstuff claiming it was his. — Defender1031*Talk 20:10, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
How about the fact it was uploaded by the exact same person TBC themselves credited for sending them the animation?? BBG 00:03, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
That combined with the fact that he can't have taken it from the fanstuff if it's higher quality than said fanstuff. -128.103.10.17 00:07, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough, but we're documenting the fanstuff entry itself, and that video is not the fanstuff entry as it appeared on the fanstuff, and it was not posted by TBC. — Defender1031*Talk 00:16, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, the video is the fanstuff entry, despite not being "the fanstuff entry as it appeared on the fanstuff". And there's precedent for presenting information about the fanstuff entry beyond what's seen specifically in the fanstuff entry, where available. See the Bubs Munny or the LBP level, for example. -128.103.10.17 00:43, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
I'd be fine with a linked comment saying that a high-quality version from the original sender is available on youtube, but the main link should be the "as it appeared on the fanstuff" one. — Defender1031*Talk 00:49, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I agree with you. -128.103.10.17 00:51, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
