There may be a Homestar Runner reference in the 2006 Mike Judge comedy/sci-fi film "Idiocracy." One character says "Why come...?" (instead of "How come"), as an example of how language has degenerated in the future. Is this a valid connection? Even if not, I highly recommend the movie. -Indogutsu Tenbuki (YK's friend)

As the phrase itself is just a simple play on language, and the fact that it doesn't really apply to H*R at all out of context, I think that's just a coincidence. — Lapper (talk) 21:59, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
