Hey guys at homestar runner.com I am in a christian heavy metal band and am trying to find a different name for my band. The current name Sinful Regret just dosen't feel very metal. Ya know so please help me find a new name

[edit] "Misspelling method" examples
In the section explaining about bands having names which are intentional misspellings of words and phrases, the example of The Beatles was deleted, the rationale being "The Beatles" took their name as a play on the word "beat", not as a reference to the insect. While it's true the word "beat" is the center of the pun, the pun is still there. It's not a "reference to" the insect specifically, but it's very obviously supposed to sound like the word "beetles", which makes it the most famous example of the type of band name being discussed. In fact, most of the band names offered as valid examples aren't specifically references to the thing being spelled incorrectly, it's the misspelling that's half the point. Def Leppard isn't a band devoted to songs about large cats, Aerosmith don't intend to teach people about the art of arrow making, and the remaining members of Led Zepplin don't likely care if their name brings to mind images of vintage blimps. If you insist on removing it again, the only rationale should be that the other examples given are of bands that are, or were considered at one time to be, metal, and it's obvious that the subject at hand is metal bands, but as a band name, The Beatles are a perfect example. - Ugliness Man 18:25, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure at least one of the Beatles is on record as saying the name was a reference to Buddy Holly's Crickets, which makes you double-right.
- Let's see, from The History of Rock and Roll (real class I actually took four semesters ago) I remember that between "The Quarrymen" and "The Beatles" the band's name was "Silver Beetles". — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 04:53, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

The little acoustic guitar tuneup thing on the Limozeen one sounds a lot like the beginning of "And You And I" by Yes, on Close to the edge. It starts out with a few notes then a little "plunk" A lot like that. 199.224.118.156 23:23, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

It has been pointed out that Lazor and Bigg Nife both have pages on the wiki. I don't really think they should have their own pages. They basically say "The band's name was first mentioned in band names, it was confirmed to be an actual band in a later mention, and we know the name of one band member but not any others. We don't know the style of music." That's not enough to go on for a whole page. There should be a page called something along the lines of Bands introduced in band names where the information on those pages would fit. That page should, of course, also mention and link to the more extensive Limozeen and Taranchula since their names were also introduced here.
