• Helper function to abstract detection the post type:
  • "T" = "Twitter"
  • "B" = "Bluesky"
  • "I" = "Instagram"
  • "r" = "ronginald"
  • Note that these post types are abbreviated to reduce the post-include size on very long pages (like @StrongBadActual Tweets 2018).
  • Since this is a very frequently-included template, small reductions add up. See WP:PEIS for more information.
• May be extended in the future for other post types
• The following templates will need to be updated if a new post type is added:
  • {{post}} (in the header and date sections)
  • {{post-getTypeName}}
  • {{prs}}
  • {{postref}}
