[edit] Awexome Statistical Data
Hi there, DMurphy. I'm glad you're making a cool new page for the wiki - I'd like to help with the effort, too. Did you happen to save the excel spreadsheet or microsoft word database you used to make the Linear Regression line graph - I would love to help out, possibly make a nice pie graph - thanks for any help! --The Paper 23:37, 26 Mar 2005 (MST)
- I enjoy the statistics page, DMurphy, but it would be nice if you'd upload your Excel files somewhere so that the rest of us could help to keep the statistics up to date. What do you say? — InterruptorJones 16:09, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Since this user has been on indefinite hiatus, I will provide the Excel spreadsheet that he shared with me. I have included all the necessary statistical information, including data from the latest email lady...ing. The file is hosted at the following URL: [1] —THE PAPER PREEEOW 15:02, 17 Aug 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome Back!
Hi, DMurphy. I'm glad to see you have returned (hopefully for more than a brief moment) to add some helpful information to our old favorite statistics page. You will be delighted to know that the article that you started achieved Featured Article status a little over a month ago. —THE PAPER PREEEOW 04:11, 12 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Reword vs. Revise
See my reply on the TGS10 STUFF page for more detail, but basically it's okay to reword an item (especially early in the process) as opposed to revising it (as long as the substance of the item doesn't change). On the other hand, see "Good Ol' Uncle Sam" for an example of something where the revision is markedly different from the original version, necessitating two distinct votes. Hope that helps. — It's dot com 06:38, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
