[edit] Welcoming
Hey, could you please remember to welcome people with {{subst:User:H*bad/welcome}} instead of just {{User:H*bad/welcome}}? That "subst:" means the server doesn't have to take an extra hit every time the welcome is viewed. It also prevents the welcome from being altered if somehow your welcome page is vandalized or compromised in some way. Thanks for remembering this. - Qermaq - (T/C) 02:15, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, is that what that means. Thanks.--H*Bad 03:24, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your blocked IP
Hello there, H*Bad. I know you can't reply to this messege for a week, but I was first to apologize. Not for my actions, as I had to block your IP because of your trollish brother, but for the fact that he decided to start this mess. A week is not a long time, and you can still browse and search the wiki for information. In the meantime you should drop down to the IRC, so we can sort things out. Hope you don't take it too hard, — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 21:49, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- Its ok, because I am unblocked now, so accually expect more from me on here as well.--H*Bad 03:52, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] How do I make my Sig?
I need your help, because I need to have a user sig, H*Bad. Homicidal Runner (UTC)
- H*Bad requests that you contact him at the Fanstuff, as he cannot reply here until the 16th, due to circumstances beyond his control. However, you may want to look at Help:Signature for anything you might want to know. Just also make sure it stays inside the guidelines. --DorianGray
- So would you like me to get your sig from the HRFWiki?--H*Bad 21:48, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Just letting you know...
I've upgraded my navbar to version 1.1. Remember, just letting you know incase you wanna change yours accordingly. --Y2K () 07:14, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Now I've upgraded to Nav-Bar 1.21. Think you'd use this upgrade now? --Y2K () 01:29, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
No, thats ok, I am not going to change it.--H*Bad 03:36, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Which template?
Hey, good catch on the page needing deletion. The {{delete|reason}} template should be used, though, when you are confident there's a clear-cut reason to delete. Examples include troll pages, fanstuff, user pages not following the guidelines, etc. In this case I think it's pretty clearly not a worthwhile page, but summing it up in a few words would be tough, and it seems the contributor was acting in good faith. So I used the {{tobedeleted}} which gives no reason, just a link to the Talk, where I posted why. (There's also a {{talktobedeleted}} template too, once a Talk related to a deleted page or a page pending deletion is no longer needed.) - Qermaq - (T/C) 14:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, and also, I once used the tbd templete, but I was then told to use the delete templete.--H*Bad 14:09, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thank you for stickin' up for the clean canvas on my talk page. I agree with you on that one. Flameviper 19:18, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Its just that I hear about people talking about their past and bad things that they did, and I didn't want you to start off with a bad reputation.--H*Bad 19:20, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hi!
Hi! You're one of The thing's favorite users. HR 20:51, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes.--H*Bad 20:55, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Just to check...
Are you running Firefox with the Google Toolbar installed? It's just that this is now a documented MediaWiki bug which causes things such as what happened in this edit you made to Strong Bad Email. --ENUSY 09:49, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- I use both Firefox and Google Toolbar and it happened to me too. Funny thing is that when I tried to fix H*Bad's edit, it happaned again and it didn't fix anything at all. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 10:13, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Subtitles
Hey, H*Bad. You forgot to remove the inprogress template from the subtitles you were working on before you went to bed, so I did it for you. I know you didn't do it on purpose, because we had talked about it on IRC last night, and you told me you would do it. Apart from that, I moved the page to the correct location, fixed the XML and character names, etc. You can see here, what changes I made. I would appreciate it, if you would from now on test subtitle scripts before you put them online. Thanks. Loafing 11:28, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- I know, I know, I forgot about the template. Also, I just followed the link from the page that you showed me. And that's were it led me was to that page that wasn't correct. Also, please, don't take this into any, I mean any offense. But I don't need someone on my talk page talking about what I have done wrong, especially someone that hasn't been here longer than I have. Unless, you can build a time machine, like in that one cartoon... hmm... Anyways, I only just found that option and I don't believe that I found anything on any subtitles page, saying where to test them. And don't answer me if I am wrong, thank you.--H*Bad 13:58, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- If seniority is the only card you have to play, then you've got a weak hand indeed. Talk pages are what we use to communicate about the project, and if someone has something to say, this is the appropriate place to put it. I would hope you would entertain all constructive comments, regardless of who is saying them. We don't need people creating pages that other people have to completely fix. If you're not willing to learn from your previous work, then perhaps it should be left to someone who is. — It's dot com 18:24, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Acually it's not the only card that I have left, or else I would have yelled Uno. Anyways, the page that I edited was linked off of the page the Loafing showed me, which in fact I can't find right now. Also, talk pages, yes are used to communicate, but they shouldn't be something where someone explains to you like a little baby everything that they did to correct your mistakes.--H*Bad 18:36, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Loafing's intent wasn't to criticize you or put you down. We all, even you, get mildly exasperated when something gets posted that needs a lot of work. As for the seniority, Loafing should be treated with the same respect you would treat everyone else with. — Lapper (talk) 18:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- I know what his intent was, but it was still something that is best in private, like PM on IRC, email, etc. I don't mean to be rude or snide or whatever, other word that there is, but I was just upset that someone decides say something about what I did wrong, in a parenting way. And in no way is any of this sarcasem in case you were wondering.--H*Bad 18:49, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

- HBad, please stop being disrespectful. As for the link on HRWiki:Subtitles/List, that worked perfectly fine when you created the page. You must have accidentally clicked the wrong one. Also, testing subtitles is explained here: HRWiki:Subtitles#How To Test Your Subtitles. Next time, someone gives you constructive critique of your work, take it as an opportunity to improve and look up stuff. Don't just blindly attack instead. Loafing 19:33, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- I clicked on the one that said: "en" for english. Also your twisting my words, I am ok with critzisum, but what I am not ok with is being treated like a little baby.--H*Bad 19:39, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Then stop acting like one. If you look at the history of the list, you can see that the link was correct. Sheesh, you clicked the wrong link, big deal. Loafing 19:45, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've been following along here. HBad, I really don't see where anyone's treating you like a baby. I'm guessing that's a perception problem, because everyone in this conversation has been talking to you as if you were an adult by my eye. - Qermaq - (T/C) 19:50, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- It must be a point of view thing. Now it's turned into a big deal by you guys. Also, the only time I was talking about when I said treated like a baby, was when he put into detail everything I did wrong. That's all I had a problem with, you guys are blowing this out of proportion. Also, I know I didn't click the wrong link, because it showed up as blue when I went back to the page that had the link on it.--H*Bad 19:54, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
